Sequal(s) to Ninja Scroll??? WAHH?

k so heres the deal i am in the video store and i see Ninja scroll i go "ho-hum' cuz well i ave seen it and own it and have no reason at all to read the box...

then i pic somethin up called ninja ressurection and "ka-blma-o" its a sequal!?!!? wow i gotta see this i said to myself.. yes i talk to myself...

so i make a mental not and continue on flipping through the boxes and i see what looks like anoteher edition of the sequal, resurrection, titled the same but with a different sub title like the return of jubei for one and soemthin else.. and the pics are different..

so i ask you, anime fans, is it a trilogy?.. does it go on?... why two sequal edtions?... whats the difference?... SO WHATS THE DEAL!!?!??!

This show has absolutely nothing to do in term of sequel to Ninja Scroll. But apparently, it's a very good show to watch. And yes, it's available on dvd (regional free coding).

but jubei was the hero in ninja scroll and in Ninja Scroll Resurection it features him again... obviously in the future from when ninja scroll took place or a parallel dimension or another jubei or somethin but it involves a jubei... so whats the deal with this new one?

Jubei is a kinda common japanese name(at least in feudal japan) so it's not rare to see characters named Jubei from one feudal japan story to another. So it's not the same Jubei than in Ninja Scroll.

but he has a patch over ne eye and looks just like him!?!?! o well ill just have to check it out and see.... does anyone know if its any good?

it bored the hell out of me. i understand, i was completely confused also... then i borrowed the tapes from a friend and found out that they're terrible, that they have nothing to do with ninja scroll, and that i wasted my time. sorry.

Ninja Ressurection is absolute crap trust me steer well clear of it, I know of a few people who actually liked it but those that hated it are far more. If youre expecting another Ninja Scroll don't bother, also I think that the Jubeis have different last names if i'm right. Better to spend your cash on a decent series
