ok so im talkin to a freind and shes tellin me how at minight or so (depending where you live)... Gundam is presented un edited... and that they use language like.. well i cant say it but they begin with an "S" and in with "HIT"... THAY CAN SAY THAT ON CARTOON NETWORK can tey?.. and do they???

Well, I've seen a few episodes of the uncut gundam wing. I've never heard anyone say ----, but I know that they say damn quite a bit. And instead of saying that they'll "destroy" someone, they actually say kill.

well, i guess thats why they're showing the unedited version of gundam during midnight coz by that time, all the kids are in bed. so, the kids wont get to hear those ----, ---- and etc... words.
anyway, i like the unedited version best. i hate it when they cut out a number of things.....

They do say "Sh!t" in there, and, if you've ever seen someone wipe their brow for no reason [points to Quatre in the episode where Sandrock self destructs] they're actually wiping away BLOOD (Ooo, now that's frightening! Not) in the unedited version.

Now I wonder if they'll make an unedited Tenchi ... ^^

Well, the way everything is going right now, about a year ago they had to cover up people getting killed and didnt show any blood at all, now today they can show some of the blood and some minor cuss words at midnight, and the killing!, so at this certain rate, in a year or 2 they might be able to have words like fu...dge, and s...ugar on anime, and maybe even some nudity ;) Never know, things change all the time, they can show boobs on the history channel, not that I care though :rolleyes2

Thats why I have the DVD edition complete and UNedited... You're right edited Anime does stink, in my opinion it wasnt made for kids so kids SHOULDN'T watch it its that simple. Fine with stuff like Pokemon etc. those were made for kids, Gundam wasn't

I can guarantee you that no nudity will be shown on Cartoon Network within the next five years due to USA's "strict moral code." CN won't be showing anything more than that editted Tenchi unless they get that anime channel.

Yeah, they cuss on the Gundam Wing @12:00 p.m...I tape the unedited version so I can watch it instead of the edited. By the way, did anyone notice Ryoko saying 'damn' under her breath in episode 3 of Tenchi Universe...bad, cartoon network, bad... :nono:
