Ask Alfonts about Patlabor, he's the expert ;)
I have seen two of the movies and I think they are pretty good. They offer more than just action but some political issues that might arise in the future... well oO maybe

I've seen the two movies and enjoyed them both thoroughly. I like the way it focuses on the characters more than the mecha action (Not that I don't like mecha action :D) . It seems to be one of the more realistic mecha Animes...

Thanx for the intro Irafel. Yeah i've only seen the movies but i've watched them so many times i can recite them word for word whilst watching. I'm going to buy a copy of the Manga, and i'm constantly looking for the TV series, that and wings of Honneamise are my fav anime. It's excelletn how they have polotics and try to keep damage to a minimum, instead of blow the ***** through the 'evil' robot at all cost. Got 2 ask though, I believe in the second movie it wasn't just revenge that caused .... damn! can't think of his name. but the guy who buys the balloons and all, it's not just revenge he does it for but to show the world that it isn't invincible and that it can fall like everything else right?

just right clicked your mouse on the image and look on the properties and you will see where I link that image from, there are a lot more of these cool toys, but I wouldn't want to make this page loading time too long for the 56k users.

Or that I'm a realy cool guy that's handsome, smart, funny, caring, witty, strong (both physical and mental), and i have a great future ahead of me? By the looks of things i think it has to be *pauses for a minute as his head gets jammed in the door* the last one 'cause you'd only speak the total and utter truth right?
