But remember that Second Impact was also largely a cover up story for the true actions of Lehern (Correct me please) which later became NERV. It was the story that it was a comet that caused teh destruction of Antarctica not the Destruction / Suicide / whatever happened to Adam (I know he didnt fully die) So it is fairly probable that 3rd Impact is in fact teh first Extinction causing Meteorite. It could be something more sinister but it is an accurate assumption.

Being one who wants to find out everything, I had a look at a sheet of paper I suspect was from Shinji's school. I think the episode was the one with Jet Alone. I'll have another look and get back to you, but when I paused the screen, I had a good look at the sheet. It was a bout 2nd impact, and so also had a small note about 1st impact
I beleive it said that the first impact was the one that struck millions of years ago and wiped out the dinosaurs.

so as stated above, the description of the first impact in the series was indeed true.

1st impact was when Adam and Lillith as a single being crashed on earth split into two seperate beings and went to their areas, the white moon and the black. Yes it did wipe out the dinosaurs around 135million years ago.

Actually, with all the bible references in Eva, I thought that 1st impact could have been Noah's Ark and the flood and so forth.
Of course, that only works in you believe in God and the bible. The Meteor is a much more believable theory. :D

Dont forget the RCB is only the oppion of someone working at Ganinx, not Annos oppion himself. He said "If you dont understand it its not my problem". In the RCB their are numerous errors, so no it cant be used as evidence, it and ONLY be submitted as an oppion.

Also yes it was described as being a meterior impact, but so was 2nd Impact...

There is a real theory that the moon we all know was created by a huge meteorite in the Earth's early history.

Could this have been 1st impact? Could this be the white moon, cf black moon.

Everyone knows when we study EVA our oppions change constasntly and mine are beginning to again...

The black moon is defiently without a doubt at the Geofront... or is also called the egg of lillith... it is where all life came from.. supposedly... at least it is where Lillith spawned the Lillum. The egg of lillith is raised by the Red Earth Purefication Ceremony and it is a way of opening a door way to the room og Guf. Where all souls recide for placement and allocation into new beings.

The white moon however is said in the RCB to be at Antartica where 2nd Impact took place... the relevance other than that... not sure... but my ideas on this are changing slowly. Adam created the angels at the white moon, millions of years ago.
