Niea 7!!! AH! I WANNA SEE IT SOO BAD!

Has anyone here heard of this little anime called Niea 7? it's by mr. ABe (lain creator?) and i dont know why, but it looks reeeally good... it looks goofy, yet it is also very unique... i just watched the intro and now, i've been thinking of it all day... gah! if only money grew on trees! i'm thinking of selling my outlaw star dvds for it... ga!

anywho, i just wanted to ask about everyone elses oppinions on it... thanks!

Personally I think Niea_7 rocks, a whole lot even... so whenever I get my hands on some cash I'll start buying the DVDs.

I saw one episode and personally couldn't stand it. I really didn't like it :vomit: . But that's just my opinion. If you guys really like it, then cool. Booyaka.

I liked it. Its not like Lain I'll tell you that. Its a bit more mellow.

32 bucks for a dvd is expensive no matter how new it is. Where do you live? I got my dvd copy for like 24 bucks.... and even thats a bit on the high side. :heh:

well we don't have anime shops... and in within a i don't know 200 mile radius, there is ONE freakin store that has anime and that's Suncoast.. and they KNOW that they are the only store... so they raised the price a little :bawl:

i'm so obsessed, i've just changed my avatar... geez... i hope it lives up to expectations :heh: i'm sure it will though.

If you're willingly to buy it online I know that www.rigthstuf.com carry the DVDs for $26.98.

$32.00 sounds a tiny bit too much for 1 DVD...

i WOULD buy it online, but after the tax, shipping, etc., it would just end up costing about the same amount... besides, i'm sure there is a long waiting period now for deliveries anyhow.. thanks anyway...

well, it's been more than three weeks since i've posted this and I STILL have not gotten the dvd :(

however i have the fan sub of the first episode and i like it a lot! the relationship between Niea and Mayu is so...weird and cute... :kawaii: i see good things for this series :)

Well...I was browsing though my local anime shop, I noticed the first DVD volume sitting on the shelves. Snapping it up, I rented it and brought it back home.

It was a good thing too, because today was the day I decided to bring one of the presentation projectors home with me to see how it looked with other video sources. Soooo, I got to watch NieA_7 on a 6 foot diagonal screen on my four-speaker surroudnd stereo! :D Felt like I was at the movies...

So far, I love the show. I want to see more.

Yes, the first 2 dvds show much promise... the 3rd ones coming out next month right? Unless of course it gets pushed back.
