Does the movie signal the end of Nadesico:bawling: , or ar their plans for future projects?

The story of Nadesico continued past the movie, in the form of a Sega Dreamcast game. This game was titles "Nadesico: The Mission", and wasnt very good from what I've played. They put so much of the budget into voice acting and such...the gameplay itself suffered dramatically.

A friend of mine said that there is going to be a Nadesico 2 with Ruri being the Captain. Not sure how concrete it is, I'll have to get back to you on that.

yes, the plot could continue on from the movie, charting the further adventures of Ruri Hoshino and company... after all, there are so many new situations to be in for the crew...
