How do you describe FLCL to your friends?

If someone asks you what it is like how do you describe it?

Me I tell them that it's a J-punk version of South Park if a more punk attitude was taken and Matt Stone and Trey Parker were really on crack.

I've showed the show to all of my friends without saying anything about it except "it's insane. Watch", and all of them love it.

It really depends who I'm describing it too, but most off the time I just say its the best, now watch or die

I don't think I'd even want to try... I can't say I'm able to explain it to myself yet :sweatdrop.
I'd just force them to sit and watch, glue them to the chairs even though they'd be crazy if they wanted to leave.

I think I've played out the line, "You haven't seen anything like this before." ^_^;; I use that one for too many other anime.

Agree with them yes, that that is an odd choice for a battle theme.

Tell them that once they've seen the series, they'll be unable to imagine it being any different.

Well once me and CrackaBane tried vainly to compare the show to a real life movie,...

after a few seconds of intense arguing we decided theres better things to discuss,....

Hmm...I've always thought that trying to explain anything by Gainax to be impossible beyond a certain point. FLCL in particular defies description, so I just say it's "insanely wonderful and wonderfully insane."

That or "Breast Tweaking." and some guys will rish to see it. Maybe a bit dissappointed, but still, they leave with something else entirely.
