Media Blaster (AKA Anime Village) did not get the Vandread Season 1 license.

Instead...

ADV Films did... I don't know whether this is a good news or bad news since recently, I don't really like how they do their works (dubbing, subtitle for the translation, etc.)

ADV arn't that bad at doing fansubs. Dont knock em too much, to they'll stop doing it.
