Who/What is RD?

I'd like to hear all of your opinions on who/what RD is. Perosnally I think that RD is actually the original Dorothy Wayneright. Think about it, she looks exactly like Dorothy except for the hair, and the gray hair adds the fact that she would be 58. She's also involved in the "event" and all so what do yah think?

nah, she wasn't the original Dorothy, because she was an android :P And if the original Dorothy was alive, I don't think they'd have a grave and stuff for her. From what they told us in the show, she was another android like the 'regular' Dorothy.

good question, now that i think of it, i'd also like to know who RD really was. is there a way of knowing???

The list was for people that were going to be killed because of their connection to the Megadeus'. If you notice, every victim had the phrase "Cast in the name of God..."blah, blah,blah. We know that Roger is his first name, (R) but what if he had a different last name? I mean, Roger Smith does sound like a fake name. He seems to be one of the kids who had memories implanted, as well. So what if the RD means his name?

that's an interesting conclusion. i just thought it meant red dorthea. seeing as she looked just like dorthea but had a red cape.

I think that RD is the one and only Dorothy. She is called R. Dorothy at different points in the series. Also in "Beck Comes Back" Beck controls Dorothy with a sort of yellow headband. Towards the end of "RD" after Dorothy emerges from the Big O you can see a similar collar broken amongst the debris. My theory? Dorothy has a control headband slipped on her head by Angel or one of Rosewater's goons which changes her program, causing her to murder the other people with implanted memories. When the Big O crashed in and carries off RD the headband falls off and she resumes from what she can last remember and draws some quick conclusions to try and figure out what happened to her, thus coming up with the helping out Norman excuse. Her hair looks gray because of the bluish light coming from the electric box she shot. Make sense to you all?

Ok everyone, I am convinced that R.D. is Roger. I do believe that D could be a last name since Smith is a common name.

Look at the flashbacks Roger has in Episode 13. Remember the bar code in the eye?? Now look at the numbers at the bottom of the bar code. Now, go to where Roger sees the list of names. Look at the bar code and number for R.D. THEY ARE THE SAME.

Also, that evil Dorothy has a connection to megadeuces. Remember, as soon as she was destroyed, the three megadeuces came out of the water.

For the longest time I thought RD could stand for "Red Death," as that is what she seems to be. I think there were a few hints that support her being a separate being from R Dorothy, partly because we see the mold for a Dorothy while she and Roger are underground (if I remember pretty decently...). In the second season we see some "extra" Dorothies as well (once again, if I remember correctly).

In my own opinion, RD is simply a triggering device sent by Alex Rosewater to help summon the other Bigs-- that would explain why her destruction caused the other Megadei to appear.

Well for all intensive purposes you can say that RD is Dorothy's evil twin. Like was said, it appears that Rosewater knew about her and had her activated. More than likely he thought she would be the perfect bait to lure Roger into a trap.He also probbably knew that she would be the activation key for the other Megadeuces.
