Yeah, I saw several months back, I really liked it! :)

You pretty much need to have read the manga to get the most out of it though... but that's ok!

I got it (FanSub), but I've only seen parts of it yet... sound quality kinda scares me away from it :heh:.
I guess I'll make myself watch it soon enough though, and from what I've seen of it till now it's pretty good.

i just saw the movie two nights ago and it was awesome. Way different from the series at points. Whats the manga like more the oav or the movie?

I'd say the movie follows more the manga timeline then the OAV.

I've seen it and it's one of my favorite movies ;) I can't wait for the Pioneer release to come out, hopefully they'll include Adventures of Mini-Goddess :D

The OVA follows the manga line more so then the Movie does. Just an fyi, most AMG fanatics consider the OVAs' as a lite version of the manga. Theres a lot to be read and said when it comes to the manga. The movie itself introduced two characters not seen in the manga or in the ovas (Celestine and the cute fairy lady. :) ). I could go into further detail, but at this moment my mind is going blank. :heh:

Actually the reason for the start of this thread is that I wanted to know how many people have actually seen the movie..for fear that i might spoil it for you if you hadn't :p ...as i have a question concerning the movie...

There was this scene which shows belldandy promoted to a goddess..or goddess 1st class. My question is why is Celestine also there as well? Wasn't he supposed to be on the moon already?

Actually I think Celestine was sealed away shortly after Bell became a Goddess, 1st class. I'm pretty sure she already had her powers when Celestine took her to see the Gateway of true love (or whatever that place was ...:rolleyes2 ) and shortly after that he was captured. It jumped around a lot so I might be confused but I'm semi-sure ...:p

The Oh! My Goddess movie is my favorite anime movie of all time. It had a little action and Belldandy's battle costume is freaking great.

They need a normal Oh! My Goddess tv series. 5 episodes and 1 movie were not enough of Bell-chan and the rest of the crew.

yeah i know its a bit unfair no offense to you're under arrest but they get an ova and two tv series while oh my goddess gets an ova and one movie. Some ppl say its balanced by that oh my goddess has more manga but i want more oh my goddess anime

The big difference with the OVA is that whole "childhood friends" thing which doesn't fit in the manga at all.

Actually, in the manga Belldandy did meet a boy who impressed her when she was a little girl, but it wasn't Keiichi. ;)

She forgot about him, but he didn't forget about her!
