Since the decendants of the goddess and her husband are doomed to... well, kill each other perhaps... then would that mean that the curse was lifted on the baby that Aya's going to have and start the whole process again or does it mean that they've broken the curse?

The baby is not of pure Tennyo blood... Ya know, Aki and Aya's parents were cousins, which gave them almost pure Tennyo blood, which brought that "curse". Touya doesn't have Tennyo blood, I'd say simply energy of the haragomo.

Even if the baby is a girl, she won't have any Tennyo power, because Ceres' spirit is now in peace, and she doesn't need to reincarnate anymore. That's what I think. ^^

I agree with Usagi^.^ - Ceres' is now at peace and there is no reason for her to reincarnate. even at the end, Ceres unites with Shiso - its kind of sad because you know that despite all thats happened, Ceres and Shiso did actually love each other.

Also mentioned, Tooya was only created by the sheer power of the haragomo.

Aki was the reincarnation of Shiso (who's blood ran through him) and since Aki died :bawling:, Shiso also "died" along with him - hence, history will not repeat itself.

Val, he's kinda made of energy, I'd say...... Well, he wasn't born from the Tennyo herself, has no connection to the Mikage family.. He was "artificially" born from the haragomo, which isn't really the Tennyo herself, merely her energy.

If I recall correctly it was only Ceres who kept on being repeatedly killed right? Wasn't it like the first time Shiso came to and for the first time possesed someone (ie Aki?) ??? :confused2
