I am currently in the stages of planning a GSC site that will hopefully stand out from the rest (very few rest) In which it will include stuff not found on other sites and up to date news on the GSC universe. (And probably other closely related material) The thing is I will need a few people to help me run it (When I do decide to make it that is) If I don't get enough employees then I'll just forget about it. So who is in? I'll probably have you do certain things... Tell me what part you would like, how much your on, and any website skills (1-10) ? Here is a finished beta logo for the site. I was bored so I couldnt resist... =P

You See I would love to Help, really I would, but my web site skills are at 0-1 out of 10. Sorry but I have No idea. If you can find something easy for me to do great, but I can't see myself being much of a Help. But I'm in if you can use a No skill employee.
I hope others can help though, because I would love to see a great Gunsmith Cats Website.
Anyway, love he banner. Looks Great.

Rally! :kawaii: Nice banner.
I can't give a solid answer at the moment, as I'm sorta booked up for the next month or so (exams)..... web design, I'm probably a 4 or so...... but I could probably help with graphics, reviews, etc..
I hope other members see this..... it's a project that I would not like to see wasted.....

Ooh, impressive logo . I'll be in, but I prolly won't be around for long periods of time until maybe January. [HSC then maybe o/s holiday] My html skills are about 2-3/10 right now. But once I pick it up again during the summer holidays, it should be back to around 6/10. Don't ask me about java or any higher, cause I havent a clue.
Edit: 6? Maybe I was being a little too generous...:heh:

Ok first of all, if anyone here knows how to setup newspro you are automatically on the staff, and uhm.. well, the parts will be like graphics, site editor, news updater, section designer, mr info man with all the secrets about gsc that most wouldnt know about, etc. things like that, I'll need atleast one person for each of those classes. So if those interest you tell me here. and remember, NEWSPRO!

im still trying to find someone to set up newspro, thats pretty much the only difficult part of this whole thing.
orochi X
24-11-01, 07:38 PM
dont worry im sure u will find somebody that knows about newspro
Oogami Ichirou
25-11-01, 01:39 PM

26-01-02, 11:40 PM
so oogami hows it going have u found any people who knows stuff about newspro ?? or have u given up and we will never see this GSC site?
:look:
Hmmm....I missed this thread. Someone get Oogami over here to give us a progress report!

Well from what i guess the site aint going to happen . . . seeing as nobody here on AB knows anything about Newspro and also this thread is pretty damm old
Wolfpac
22-06-02, 05:46 AM
I don't evn know what Newspro is let alone know how to use it. It's a pity no-one know's anything about Newspro because this was shaping up to be the Best Gunsmith Cats website out there
Yeah what the hell is Newspro and why is it so important? Looks like it's time for research! *opens google*
Well this is what I found out:
What is NewsPro?
NewsPro is a webinterface for sending a newsletter or announcement to a list of email-recipients.
In addition with the NewsPro interface users can subscribe or unsubscribe to the newsletter themselves.

Ive used Newspro once on my friends site, well its pretty easy to use type in subject and message and post,
I think the hard thing is how to install and set everything . .

exactly. :heh: its good to have this thing because you can just type in the news and you don't have to do everything manually. But I have to admit I fell behind on this idea for a site... If people still want to do it then tell me what job you want on the website. I can probably get a domain name too.. like www.gscats.net or www.gscenter.net or www.gunsmithcats.net
Open jobs would be the following:
Site Admin: (Directs the people) Me/maybe someone else, too.
Admin's Assistant: (Helps out the Administrator)
Site designer: (Designs the graphics and site layout)
News Updater: (Uses newspro to give the latest updates in gsc related material)
GSC Info Manager: (Updates pages with GSC info)
GSC Info Mngr Assistant: (Helps the Main Manager)
Typo Fixer/Cleaner: (tells me about spelling errors so they can be corrected)
If you can find all of these people then we will definitely start the site.

Well Oog, im still intrested in helping with this site, ive been intresting sice this thread got created.
I could fill in the position of Typo Fixer/Cleaner, only thing i can do from that list ^^;;
And im sure there are other members who would love to help in making this site :)
If you're going to get a domain name then try godaddy.com. They are very inexpensive and their user interfaces are easy to use.
I'm afraid the only thing I could help with would be the Typo Fixing thingy as well :heh:

I suppose I could be the
GSC Info Manager: (Updates pages with GSC info)
GSC Info Mngr Assistant: (Helps the Main Manager)
Because Gunsmith Cats isn't around in any form, the only thing I would have to watch out for is if a new action figure or something was released by Dark Horse Comics, or the next issue of Cannon God Exaxxion.
