1. How did that big dud in ep. one get messed; what did Vash do to him?
2. What's with that girl in those power-plant-orb-thingies in that Seed Spaceship?
3. Did Vash kill Knives. If so, what happened to his philosophy? and what does "I will survive." have to do with anything?

1. Tangled the strap in the winch on his arm. Humans were not meant to bend like that, which is why he went down for the count.
2. The 'girl' was the natural form of the Plants, or the core, if you will. They produce the energy. The rest of those big light bulbs are just a way to utilize it.
3. No. "I will survive," means he intends to go on living.
