I liked Van, his brother, adn Allen Schezar...^^

My favourite characters would be Dilandau and Van. I like Dilandau because he's so psychotic and evil that it's refreshing. I like Van because he's a good bloke, and a good fighter. But all the characters in Escaflowne are cool..except Merle *shudder*
Van's my fave, but as you can guess by my avatar, i like Merle ^_^;;

Merle is a fun character.i have only seen about five episodes of the series so i can't really name my favorite yet.but so far i really like Hitomi,Allen,VAN,and Merle.
i like van coz he's so cute!! :B:
Dilandau is cool, I realy like the name..........Dilandau, sounds so cool. I like all the other characters too, except for Merle.

My fav is Van, but when I first saw Escaflowne, I thought they were spelling it "Vahn"
well, when i first saw esca, i thought it was first spelled as 'von'. hehe.. :heh: it kinda sounds like it.

My fav character would have to be Van Fanel (am i spelling his last name right). He completely rules in the Escaflowne against the Xiabach. He's pretty decent with a sword, however not as good as Allen, my second favorite character. He's also got power, being the rightful ruler to the throne of Fanalia and all.

However... he doesn't charge aggresively enough.. as a peron who's larned a bit of fighting arts... he doesn't charge at an aggresive and powerfful enough attack... however.. how ma I supposed to know?^^;; I only learnt how to use the glave... not the sword^^;; :heh:

I pretty much like all of the characters. Van and Dilandau are my faves though.
I would have to say that VAn is the coolest of em', but all of the other chars are awesome... you just can't go wrong there.

I would have to say Van... he is probably the only "main charecter" that is my favorite...well, besides Terry Bogard from king of fighters. Besides Van is such a cutie!!!

I like Hitomi & Van. Allen is a little too smarmy for my liking. But the best thing in Escaflowne is the Escaflowne. It looks dead cool!

Like my favorite character would be Hitomi Kanzaki, cause she's so cute and amazing and all. She's just GREAT with her psychic powers or something. She knows how to handle herself and is so friendly and kind.

me? my motto is: gotta love van! He is the coolest! so is his mommy!! and hitomi is ok but if i were a knight or a samuri i would kick Allen's @$$ cause he tried to move in on Van's girl; Hitomi! even asked her to marry him... That is DIRTY and wrong, If i was a dude, i would so not do that. I saw that ep where allen kisses hitomi and the look on Van's face was so sad, if i were hitomi i woulda run after him, but if i were hitomi, i wouldn't of kissed him to begin with! hahaha Samuri Kimino would so get allen down for the count! Cause i rule! ;)

I was about to answer that question but I went back a page to backtrack for 30 secs and that post apeared. But anyway that's right the tags are img and /img inside the little [] bracets (only the tags themselves are in the bracets the URL goes between the 2 tags

Anyways, if you need more help, just refer to the vbb code page. There's a link on every page I think, you just have to look closely to find it.

My top 3 are Van, Hitomi and Merle. I like Merle just a bit more though, mainly because in the episodes that i've seen she's barely there, that or she's yelling VAN :)
Usually my fave characters are my fave for odd reasons!!

Jajuka is my best. There's no one who can rival with him in a sipiritical power. There is no hatred in him to anyone. He's so touching! Am really his fan.
The next is Dilandau. And I want to describe my opinion about her(him) in my own topic.
Then comes Doppelganger, who's devotion is close to Jajuka's, but it's also missed reason to live in him.
The last is Dryden-san, who is just like me, that's why I love him. I think he is a most free guy in this series. He never lies and he ready to help you anytime. He's nobility isn't for others. He just can't live another way.
That's what I think.

Call me crazy but I happen to love Mr. Mole. I found him to be very entertaining. I know what you are going to say is that he is not that important of a character. All I have to say about that is that I thought he was funny there for I like him. He is even kind of cute in an ugly kind of way.
