First impressions

I bought the first dvd of Martian Successor Nadesico and so far have watched the first episode. It was quite good from what i've seen and has quite a big cast of characters from the tough guy (gekigar fan), the dittzy captain, the i'm just a cook guy and the everyone else is an idiot chick.

Seems interesting, hopefully it does well in australia and the movie gets released here.

It has already done well here and has quite a few fans. I first saw it at the beginning of last year, and have since got the entire series and movie.

i finished watching the first dvd and it has impressed me alot. I'll probly pick up the rest of the series on dvd. Genkgangas a laugh too too but SPOILER Gau died

yeah, nadesico is a pretty damn good series. the First Battle for Mars is one of the coolest anime space battles I have seen (short of the "Legends of the Galatic Heroes" battles... 30,000+ ships a side...). The mecha are cool-looking too and the opening theme just kicks butt.

now i am eargerly awaiting the release of the next tapes in austrlia. tape 3 should be out next month some time.
