While watching episode 3 again, I realized that guy Ninamori is talking to while she's taking a bath is Naota's father. He asks her if she's doing better, because he was at the table when she had to leave while eating the curry. And she thanks him for exposing the affair between her father and the secretary because he published the 'zine that had the stuff about her father, the Mayor in it. Always thought that was some mysterious guy who would hang around her like Haruko does with Naota.
:sweatdrop... I think that was something I realized quite quickly.
What I never got with me was the 'zine thing and the mayor stuff into it all, time ta watch Epi3 again..

This is true.
What made me realize that it was Nao's dad was the fact that, well, the voice was the closest to his.

Ah good, a thread about episode 3.
Here's what I want to know, at the end of the episode ninamori is on stage, wearing glasses, this after she tells Naota she wears contacts. If I recall correctly, Naota calls out to her, saying something like "you're finally wearing your glasses openly" to which she responds by putting her finger through the glasses' frame and saying "it's fake". I don't know exactly why, but I love that scene, even though I'm not able to understand it's significance. I don't think the Eri's role (she was the prince, right? it's been a while) required she wear glasses so that's not an option, and I can't think of any other reason for her to wear fake glasses.
Now, you would think that Ninamori starting to wear her glasses as a result of what happens in the episode would symbolize her starting to care less about appearences and social standing, saying that a change has come over her (note the shortened hair). But then we find out the glasses are fake and she is still wearing her contacts, this may mean that she can't really change so easily and still has some hung-ups about appearence, so she resolves to still wear contacts with the fake glasses on top, which is pointless. Maybe she did just wear the glasses for the play (she is wearing contacts in later episodes) , which would mean that the role required it and that my post was extremely stupid. If that is true, I appologise in advance. So, anyone got any ideas?

*scratches head*
I think you said what I believe...yeah, I think that's what I'd say.
To add a little, I also see it as a continuing theme of women getting the best of Naota.

the thing I like most about Ninamori is that one scene where she's wearing fake glasses. reason: I wear fake glasses too... well cosmetic ones (that Mantis has been hiding fer a while... baka *smack*) I just thought it was neat.

I never thought it was him, I just thought it was someone like a secret service agent type guy
The end scene of ep3 is one of my favourites too.
I think the scene was poking fun at the end of the first episode when Naota decides to finally make a small change in his life by drinking the sour soda. At first your supposed to think she is doing the same, but then... well... they're fake. I think it means she isn't ready to make the change yet. To wear her glasses that is. This IS just what i THINK mind u ^_^.
