Saber Marionette J and Jubei Chan???

I've been thinkin about startin some new series...

But I was just curious about Jubei Chan and Saber Marionette J. How would you guys compare these series to Outlaw Star?

Better, Outlaw star is better, etc???

I ain't comparing Jubei-chan or Saber Marionette J to Outlaw Star on this one.

Brief plotlines for...

Jubei-chan - The Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch - A young innocent girl inherits a mysterious eyepatch once owned by the legedary ninja master, Jubei. Everytime she wears it, she became the invincible master ever.

Saber Marionette J - I love this series, not because of Koyasu Takehito (The bishonen seiyuu for Hotohori XD~~), Midorikawa Hikaru (seiyuu of Tamahome, Zelgadis and Heero Yuy) and Hayashibara Megumi (seiyuu of Lina Inverse, Chocolate, Faye Valentine and Ayanami Rei), but the entire series has those cute, sweet but funnier moments all the way.

On a distant planet called Terra II (another version of Earth), the inhabitants of the planet is run by men only. There isn't any females so they created android versions of it which are called marionettes. However, Otaru lives a normal life until he stumbles upon a hidden secret inside the Japoness museum and awakens Lime, a marionette with a special, unique feature within her. Also along the way is Cherry and Bloodberry, who also have the common features of Lime...except with their personalities and attributes.


Hmm......I haven't seen much Outlaw Star lately. Though now is the time to ask!

its hard to compare OS to jubei-chan and SMJ, but i recomend SMJ. ive only seen the first dvd of jubeichan and its fuuny as heck, but SMJ has more story to it.

I'd say that both J and Jubei are way better in my personal preference, tho they are nothing like the same type of show so its hard to compare,,

Cause yeah,
I know they're not really comparable, cause of it's differences and all, but I've just finished outlaw star and was not necessarily disappointed, but neutral rather...

So what do the rest of y'all think?? Are these any better than OS???

I've seen the first disc to jubei chan and i cant recommend it yet. It has potential to be a great action anime but it's too cute/goofy for it's own good. The animation ranges from CRAP to very fast and smooth, and it's done intentionally. Although i do want to finish watching it, but only because i've read review sites that it becomes more dramatic later. Outlaw star really cant be compared to these two animes. I havent seen saber marionette j yet, but my roommate has ordered up the series. Outlaw star is a great action anime but not as much depth. i personally loved outlaw star but i recognize it's weaknesses. So it all depends on what you like.
