you finaly decided to post about it havok? well from your first description, i thought it was VERY sick(i hate! tentacles, beasts and bondage) but after you convincing me a bit and reading about it, if you get past those sick scenes, it could be good.

I haven't seen much of this series, but what I saw of it I thought it wasn't that bad. I thought it was animated quite well.

The only tiny bit of urotsokidoji i've seen is in the start-up manga thing(the newer one) where the main guy says something like "I don't believe it" and he has this floating funny looking companion. I assume it gets more 'adult' but hey, i'd watch it just for that floating guy.

I have got Urotsukidoji parts 1 and 2 on video, they were the first anime videos I bought. It does have an excellant story line, but the dub isnt that good and the rape sceens a bit unecessary at times. The versions I bought where the comercial censered versions, I have seen Urotsukidoji 2 un-censered...... I can give you an idea as to how bad it can get, you see inside womb shots when people are being raped.

But if you go beyond all the sex (which does actualy play a bit of a purpose to the film) it is very good.

Oh yeah, the violence can be almost as bad as Genocyber at times........ but nothing beats Genocyber. And it can make you think "ouch" at time (there is a sceen in Urotsukidoji 1 where a kid cuts his own dick off with a butcher knife)

Dont mock the human absorbing, total destruction tenticles!!!!

I guess I would have to fall somewhere between thinking its the best or worst anime. I do not think its the best, but I have seen far worse as well. I do think it does a good job with the type of anime that it is, but it is very graphic and disturbing, especially the parts Panda_Boy pointed out. I watched it just to say I have seen it before. I forget how many there are, but I have also seen the second one. Now that one is horrible. After watching that, I have little/no desire to see the rest, but I would watch the first one again.

I guess if anyone is interested in watching it, there are two versions of Urotsukidoji (at least that I have seen). One is tamer than the other since it has some of the more violent rape scenes cut short.

Just to inform you Japuka, there are 4 Urotsukidoji Parts in total. parts 3 and 4 were not done by mange and both parts 3 and 4 and divided into 3 different parts. I have heard that Manga are redoing the them and that part 4 has only just passed the cencorship laws, apperently it had a bit of trouble due to the child rape sceens.

I probably will see the concluding parts to Urotsukidojo just so I know how it ends but apparently the last 2 parts are very poor, well thats unless the romours are true that manga are going to remake them.

It wasnt an accedent, he cut it off in order to exchange it for a better one, I wont explain why he needed to do this cos it will spoil the film for all those who havnt seen it and have yet to be scared away by my replies.

Thanks Panda_Boy. I knew there was a part 3 and 4, but I wasn't sure if it went beyond that or not. I should have been a little clearer that I was talking about the first part having two different versions.

Who ever said that exchanging that particular extremity made sense? Though when bargaining with demons, few things ever do. You'd have to watch it to understand, but its very disgusting. Approach with caution.

You said that explaining the penis-cutting off would ruin the movie, for those who haven't seen it, like me. Please tell me that this penis choping isn't what the whole movie is about.

From what i've heard I don't really wish to see the Urotsukidoji films. I would never have guessed it is as sick and twisted as everyone says.

Dont worry Krang, Urotsukidoji is not a film about a man cutting his dick off.

The event of the dick removal and exchange is not what is significant to the film, its the consequences later in the film that make it important, he changes in personality and in power.

*this paragraph could be a spoiler* Japuka, the demons were going to try to use him to defeat the overfeind. (I cant remember any of the charactors names so bare with me) As he hated the boy who would be the overfeind the demons gave him power in the knowledge that he would use it to take the girl he loves away from the boy who is the overfeind and consiquectly a fight would persue between him and the overfeind. The boy thought the demons were helping him when really they were using him, there was no real bargin involved. He need to change his dick in order to gain the power the demons promised...... I hope that all mad sense.
