A Change in Bart? (Spoiler)

For those who all saw Vandread SS episode 3, what the hell? Bart just changed out of nowhere. Just right from the beginning, they were on a planet where the humans were dying. The deads been put into a pod so the Earthling can take their organs (sick). Then Bart has his heart on Shirely and ... he started to be MORE MANLY! He bust out some secret weapon on Nirvanna and ...


He shaved his head! :D

Too much changes in that character... hurting... head...

yeah, i was like "huh?! is this episode 3????" it just started off weird and thought for a second it was episode 4 :confused: in the first place, how did they find out about that planet and why were they protecting it? (jura and hibiki united their vanguards together patrolling the planet) it was a very emotional filled episode though....with bart and shirley. i agree w/ you azngamer, bart can be one hell of a man if he wants too! not only did he bust a suprise attack that stunned the enemy, it also scared the jee bee zuss out of the nirvana crew :D
can't wait for episode 4

Yer I loved it... if you look at the end of the episode just as bart is unleashing the "secret weapon" you'll see a light wash over him and his muscle definition change slightly.... then skip to the end of the episode.... HE IS ------- RIPPED! damn.... not only did he become more manly he got muscles!!!

As for the shaving of the head.. I liked it... it was symbolic of his feelings towards Shirly. He shaved his head becasue the doll she made for him had no hair... it was touching :)

Bart is now cool! (who'd a thought)

I hope they don't turn Bart into some serious character. I kind of liked him with all of his scheming and devious plots...

I did like ep.3 though, despite the change in character, it was more emotional than usual. (not in the Hibiki and Dita are fighting kind of way)

Episode 3 of Vandread Season 2 is simply one of the most downright heartbreaking and touching Anime Episode I have ever seen, hands down. I have never cried watching an anime, and this episode is the first one that ever made me do so. :bawling:

Do yourself a favor and buy a packet of kleanex before watching this one; you'll need it. :bawling:
