What does each medium of travel have to do with the goddess' personality? Anything? Does it say something about their realm of expertise in Yggdrasil?
Belldandy - mirror
Urd - tv
Skuld - water
The mirror, does it show Belldandy's honesty, a mirror can't lie and everything there is to know is plainly displayed, her openness?
TV, Urd's flamboyance? The inability to ignore her, her dominance?
Skuld and water, purity? Cleanliness, an untainted mind?

What do you think of Peorth? Her medium of travel is the lense from a Camera (Its been awhile since I've had to think about this... If i'm wrong, someone out there correct me... even though i'm 90% sure I'm right. :heh: ). What does this say about her?
As for your views and possible meanings... I like what you said, and don't see anything wrong with it. I'll toss more in once other people have a say about this. (Cuz it would be easier for me to have something to work with.)

I'm trying to remember something about mirrors and Belldandy. I think there's a Shinto goddess who used mirrors and there was some similarity to Belldandy in her character. I'll do some searching on this.
Water is a traditional medium of travel for spirits. Skuld uses water because it's "easy". After all, she comments when she shows up that she can only move through water (hot water in the Studip Proteus translation - done to keep a joke in the storyline). Then again, Noble Scarlet is a water angel, so Skuld does have a connection with water.
Urd is, erm, a big fan of TV? Does this reflect shallowness of character? Short attention spans? Maybe just "keeping up with the times".
Peorth is the same way, although a camera could be seen as a sign of vanity (of course you would never say that of Belldandy's mirror).
Then again, both Urd and Peorth just travel through anything they want to, or disappear into thin air if they can't be bothered to find some surface to pass through.

A camera... hmmm. Cameras distort images when they preserve them, so I dunno, maybe that could mean something.

Oh, yeah, I knew I'd forgotten someting about Peorth and cameras. Peorth doesn't emerge from the lense itself, instead the lens begins emitting light like a slide projector and Peorth travels through the lit-up area on the wall, ceiling, whatever. Much more flashy than just stepping from the lens, ne? :)
Don't know why I keep forgetting that about her.
How's this for a comparison, instead of comparing with their personnality, compare it with their role as a goddess.
Belldandy, Goddess of the Present : A mirror reflect the present
Urd, Goddess of the Past : A screen is usually used to view a record of what has past.
Skuld, Goddess of the Futur : Water is the most essential element for the continuation of life, therefore, the futur.
Maybe, its not the best comparison, but I think it fits pretty good. :)

Except for Skuld's it makes pretty good sense. TV could also document the present. But a decent theory.
