So who else likes Excel here? Haven't seen much talk (get it? see talk. HAHAHAHA) about it around here. For those who don't know, it's just great off-the-wall-make-no-absolute-sense-crap. The good kind of crap.

Its a great serie, but pretty straight forward so there isn't much to discuss. Pedro is my favorite character, "Andorra , Nooooohohohoh!".:lol:

I've seen it, but only up to ep 10 or so I think. It's very funny, but make no sense really.... also they talk WAY too fast!!! It's unbelieveable... can't keep up with them sometimes.... :o

It's soo funny how they always tend to consider the doggy as an emergency food!!! *yummmy* I wonder how it taste like... probably taste like chicken... just like everything else! :P

It is just like a typical animation where the characters just fight fight and fight + stupid jokes....

I admit that the drawings is ok, but then I won't call it one of the greatest.... maybe just above the average

I just find it very very hilarious, nearly everything is an in-joke, especially the intros with Rikudo Koshi and Nabeshin abusing his powers as the director of the show, the recap episode itself is a work of genius or insanity.........

I love the end theme - with the dog.

I've read a bit of the manga, and seen a couple eps of the series. It is by no means my favourite, but nothing can compare to it when I need a break from the hassles of real life.

The ending theme is always funny, but gets old. I can't find eps over 18 subbed. Are there DVD's comming out??? This was one of the things that got me into anime. This, and DiGi charat. I had a really screwie opinion of anime at that time.

The dog ending song is funny!! I read the translation for it... only what's in the anime.... it was hilarous!! :lol:
I'm wonder, does anyone have the full translation of that song?? Cos towards the end of that song... the dog got abit frustrated! Start yelling like crazy... and I really want to know what the dog's saying.....

So anyone got the translation by any chance??

I saw the first few episodes of Excel Saga at a convention a couple years ago. I must say that it had me in tears from laughing. It's extremely zany and brilliantly done. My favorite character is Menchi. Poor Menchi.. :lol:

Yeah, I've saw the anime up to episode 6 (i have up to 18 on CDs somewhere). I like it alot since it does not make any sense at all and the music is just "out of tune" and all these Engrish dialogues and... it's just CRAZY!!! :D

Excel goes to the states and compare Anime and Cartoons. That was great. 3 laws of anime/cartoon.

About that dog song translation who has it? I really want to know. If you really want to hear someone freak out. Find the version where the person is singing and the dog is translating.

i've seen a few random eps of excel saga, i must say, it wasn't THAT funny like many review says, it just get too annoying sometime with the non-sense stuff and nothing funny came out of it, or maybe it's just the ep that i saw or whatever, i need to see more

I've only seen one episode of Excel Saga, and that's the one that was reviewed all over the net so by the time I saw it, I knew pretty much everything that was going to happen. It was still damn funny though.

ADV has the rights to Excel, and they made an announcement about it a few months back....at that time they were implying it might be out for Christmas, but I think that's kind of out of the question now. Probably next spring.

I like Illparatzo or whatever his name is-stereotypical evil-overlord bishounen character who doesn't know how to amuse himself when his 'agent' is out on assignment:). More Evil overlords should take the Illparatzo approach and start with conquering a small metropolitan area first, this 'conquer the whole world' thing tends to backfire......

It's great in that American episode where I_p__t__zo starts talking English. Also with that love game.
