Is there any particular reason why the marionette's got their names? I've only seen ep. 1-9

I've seen J to X, Again, R, and the J series. The reason for their names is never fully explained.
It's kind of like the DBZ situation where characters are named after underwear and food products.
Maybe the creators just wanted to try something vreative.
see you space cowboys.
Hi!
I think it's just that the creator (Akahori Satoru) is notorious for naming his characters. =)
Lime, Cherry, Carrot Glaces, Tira Misu, etc.. hehe

I read that He gave the name of fruits because they're on the good side, but he gave BloodBerry because she is an adult and more agressive, and he gave the names to the sm warrior from german tanks that has cat names....

As far as I can remember (I haven't seen this series in a while) Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry are all named after fruits because they're the goodguys.
The marionettes from Germania are all named after the German tanks from WWII. Panza, Tigre and ... [thinkthink] I can't remember the last one. Ah, well.
