Super Deformed!

Anyone notice the accesive amount of super deformity through Magic Knight Rayearth too?

I noticed the EXCESSIVE amount of it and thought it was put to great comic use.

It's not as excessive as in Fushigi Yuugi...*cough* But yeah. We won't go there :D

While I completely love the CLAMP drawing style (well, all of them, actually), I find their SD style to be one of the ugliest. It takes "super-deformed" to a whole new level. The faces look squished XP

I personally enjoy it when they get all SD. Ibreases the cuteness factor ten-fold. Also it kina removes some of the heavy seriousness of some scenes.

I liked the SD in Rayearth. It was placed correctly and wasn't excessivily used, unlike the series "Shin Tenchi Muyo" or, as it is better known "Tenchi in Tokyo." Rayearth's SD was much more well done.

Another thing I liked in Rayearth was

NEKO!!!

I liked it when Hikaru went neko. It was cute. Some people don't like it, and think it unneccessary, but to that, I say: boo on you!!

I thought the amount of SD was fine. But then I'm one who thinks there wasn't enough SD in Flame of Recca.

Mokona? You can't SD something without a separate head and body. Of course, Umi would disagree.

And the Neko was cute. Strange about the pointy ears though...
