El Hazard… What's it about?

I seen quite a bunch on this series… So what is it about and is it worth going into?

well, theres basically two timelines on el-hazard (ova and wanderers), but ill explain the ova becuase i havent seen the wanderers in its entirety. its about makoto, nanami (his childhood friend), fujisawa (his sensei), and jinai(his 'rival') getting transported to the world of el hazard via mysterious artifact found in the basement of their school. makoto, nanami and fujisawa land in roshtraria and jinnai lands in bugrom who was going to invade roshtaria with their army of bugs. meanwhile, makoto has been trying to find a way back to earth. el-hazard is really a beutiful series, i recomend you watch the first ova first (EH: The Magnifecent world)

and for story orders (ova timeline), here's how it goes
1. EH: Magnifecent world (ova 1)
2. EH: Magnifecent world 2 (ova 2)
3. EH: Alternative world
