Yep, I am asking you guys who your fave couple is, and I am not gettting this into a poll because polls don't show the reasons.
I want your fave couple, and a reason - I am currently having stitches when people say the worst love couples are in MKR....

So...Which two is it????:D

The spoilerific one from the first half of the series is one of my favorites. I won't say who it is because, well, even though it's pretty well hinted at, I don't want to ruin it for anyone who has only read a little bit/seen a little bit. Why do I like them...well, that's simple: they're Romeo and Juliet, CLAMP-style ^_^

Other than them...really, I guess all of them. Even most of the popular non-canon couples are great.

The best couple in my opinion are Hikaru and Lantis. The way the bond developed between the two was good to watch as it unfolded. Then again their were a few good couplings in the series. Zagato and Princess Emeraude, Fuu and Ferio and Lafarga and Caldina. :D

I agree the Emeraude and Zagato one was tragic, the only way they could be together was in death. How sad :(

I'd have to say:

Hikaru and Lantis-I loved how their relationship evovled during the series.

Lafarga and Caldina-They make a good couple. :)

Zagato and Emeraude was tragic and utterly beautiful. It's probably one of the most tragic romances in comics history as well as anime.

Fuu and Ferio ~ uh he's WAY too good for her.. I really don't like Fuu aat all she's evil and deserves to die... she tried to kill Inouva!!

Emaraude and Zagato~ They are the perfect couple

Umi and Ascot~ I'm sorry.. Acot was really adorable all short but the hat?? come on...

I think that the best MKR couple is...... um..... let me think...... they all have way too many problems... I don't even have a favorite... I mean they pairned all the wrong people together.... But the only couple that works is Emaraude and Zagato... they were the perfect tragic love story...

can you tell that I really don't like the magic knights??? well I don't I tend to like the villains......
and Lantis is WAY to tall for Hikaru.....

I gotta say something...
If you hate MKR, state three clearly worded and logical reasons, alright?

Also, Fuu is a whinger, yes I know, but It'd certainly be worse if Hikari was taller than Lantis, and also, I cannot see the work "clef" in your post, rei-gouki. Are you trying to hide something???

Really? You can't see 'Clef'? I remember Paradox pulling the same sorta trick some time ago to hide a spoiler but for some reason, it's still visible on my monitor. :confused:

Anyhoo, I figured that's one couple no one would be interested in. But it is one I like the most in MKR. :o

You gotta use white, rei-gouki. Not grey-scale blue. That is almost the same colour, and for the monitors desinged for Win95, even the Truecolour option doesn't let you see it.
I know saw it through my friend's lil' program called "Magna-Reveal" - It originally shows passwored shown in asterisks, but shows text in hidden colours as well...
Although you can just see it if you lean CLOSER, don't pull the gig.

OK... anyway, as Paradox already pointed out, that trick only works if you get your post on the darker of the 2 shades of gray. And when it does, all you need to do is highlight it to see it.

The manga version of Hikaru, Lantis, and Eagle (lol, yes I'm a fan of a threesome, imagine that ^.^; ). You get your shoujo and your shounen-ai all wrapped in one package. The scenes between the three in the anime are adoreable, and more angsty confusion (without being overdramatic) especially with Nova being an added confusion/rival, but I tend to like the manga coupling better mainly because certain spoiler events in the anime, as well as the uncertainties of the anime ending.

...it's why i've gone from liking Hikaru the most after the first season to liking Umi the most after all is said and done - I think she matured a lot and I personally think she looked at Clef, not only differently than their first meeting, but also differently than Hikaru and Fuu looked at their 'guys' - more fondness than crush

yeah, she dissed poor Ascot like a typical girl; but at least she was straightforward and nice about it - i think he would have been better off staying short: umi doesn't care about 'short', and i like a girl who prefers substance over size...

Here are the pairings I worked out by th end of the show tht should of happened:

Hikaru and Eagle- would of made a great couple :(
Umi and Ascot- belong together, no real reason just do
Fuu and Ferio- both are boring :)
Primera and Mokona- hehe, major kawaii
Clef and Sierra- no real reason
Lantis and absolutely no one- guy was not very interesting

My favorite couple( this is from the manga 'cause I only have the first MKR dvd) would have to be Lantis and Eagle. OKAY! I know that they aren't really a couple, but I just feel for Eagle. CLAMP always makes me feel for the yaoi couples...They're so lovely::dreamy sigh::

but in couples that are in the actual show, I'd have to say... Umi+Ascot or Umi+Clef. o.o although I'm half a fan of Umi+Hikaru (and you might take that as Eagle+Lantis :P)
