What's up with Miss Mckenzie?

What was up with Ms.Mckenzie? She was psychic or soemthing and knew about the crdcaptors...what was up with her? was she evil or soemthing?

I haven't completely figured out myself who she is.Before I had first seen Yue I thought she was the other guardian.

She's not evil as she helps Sakura and her friends.She destroyed the maze made by The Maze card with a bell and gives advice whenever she can.

ahh you mean Kaho? umm...she is suppose to be something similar to a priestess at Tsukimine shrine(I think she was the daughter of the owner of the shrine) which is near Sakura's House. she was born with the power of moon like Sayoran and Yue but just different type of moon power. and the bell she holds during the episode where they capture the maze card and also in the final judgement also been magicked with strong moon power from Eriol. Since Eriol knew what would happen in the final judgement and when he met Kaho when she went originally to England he put the moon power in to that bell.She explains Why Sayoran didn't like her at the end of the first season in the manga or rather Clow cards part, that Sayoran's moon power was attracted to Yue's type of Moon power but not hers.

And late Eriol at the end of the manga series told hte Sakura and co. that it was himthat put the moon power into the bell.that's why Sakura was able to use windy without having to change it to a Sakura card with her new wand, because windy's attribute is moon. wow that explains a lot O.o...

Her methods are a bit extreme but in the end you know that she's only trying to help. In fact, she's kinda like Eriol, ultimately.

i think your wrong on some points...

Kaho Mizuki (a.k.a. Ms. Mckenzie) wasn't born with moon powers but she earned it...

remember that the lunar bell was given by Clow Reed to the priests of Tsukimine shrine and that bell was passed down from generation to generation and was later passed down to Kaho Mizuki...(manga ver.)

Syaoran Li's powers were inherited from his family's bloodline and that's why he got attracted to Yue's/Yukito's moon power while he got negative reaction when he met Kaho Mizuki...

another thing about using the moon bell and the windy card's power...
windy card's power isn't accociated with the power of the moon, actually in the first place, windy is an elemental card

Kaho Mizuki used the lunar bell to counteract on Yue's moon power...remember, two elements that are the same don't attract to each other just like a magnet (N+S=attract; N+N=don't attract)

Syaoran Li hates Kaho Mizuki because Kaho's power is only earned (or let's say borrowed from the lunar bell) and she wasn't born with moon powers and that's why Li has a negative reaction to Kaho's power because Li's power was inherited and not borrowed or earned

let me explain on Touya's relation to Kaho...

when Touya was in junior high, Kaho Mizuki was his math teacher and both of them fall in love with each other (back then, Touya was 16 and Kaho was around 19-20...i think)

ummm yeah that's because it's a direct translation from Japanese and when you do that some grammers in English turns out weird and does sound a little off. the official translation is less true to the translation because they would have to change it so it makes sense in terms of English language. believe me even my sister says so (she gets like A average in Japanese O.o..)

~_~....You mean Eriol not Clow Read(that's the official spelling people! 'Read') because Eriol says to Yue that he may posses his memories but he is *NOT* Clow Read. So Eriol can't be Clow Read. And She got her power through that moon bell since Clow Read left it to the Tsukimine shrine long ago and she was born there at the shrine, as daughter of the owner of the shrine.And so she also got the moon bell from the priestess who was there before her(well a woman at any rate.) and it's been like that for generations after Clow Read died in Japan.

o.O...suzaku her ancestor was born with the power of the moon, and that magic flows through the family. she understood the use of the bell through her moon power but did not earn it. Eriol never ever said even one clue that Kaho got her power from him or the bell and Kaho herself never said that in anyways that she earned it but she explained why she knew about the bell that's because she had the power of the moon to able to understand it's mysteries.

So it goes this way. Li and Sakura likes Yukito because of the aspect of the moon. Li hates Kaho cuz she was just given moon powers. Ok so far?

Li likes Yukito/Yue because Li got attracted to Yukito's/Yue's moon power while Sakura simply got attracted to Yukito/Yue...

there are two ver. on how Kaho Mizuki got her moon powers...[list=1] She earned her moon powers from the moon bell w/c was passed down from generation to generation(manga ver.)
