One question
I got some fansub tape and after the whole anime is finish there is 1 more anime that I didn't order for. It is called Angelic Layer (it was tape in the very back) ep1~2 ... So I get what the story is about. Is it worth it to get the whole thing? Angelic Layer?

Definately:D Its one of my favorite serie, great animation, funny at time serious and great action scenes, puts *ahem*DBZ to shame in my opinion.
ive only seen like four episodes, and so far i like it a lot :D
I too have only watched 4 episodes but I found it to be highly entertaining. Nothing but the best from CLAMP.
I've seen 17 eps so far and it's really good :D
It's kinda like CCS (except without magic) so if you like shoujo you should like angelic layer.

Actually I was planning on starting up a thread on it as soon as I finished the 12 eps I currently have. Believe me, it's great. I decided to poke around the net for the manga to see what it was about and found it way cool. There are character designs from the other Clamp productions that get reused in Angelic Layer. It's almost a continuation without actually continuing.
If it wasn't so good, I'd actually compare it to Pokémon in concept and storyline. That is, I say again, if it wasn't so good. :D

Angelic Layers is highly recommended to any anime fans!!!!;)
I've seen up to about 8 episodes, me quite nuts about it!!!!:D

Thanks! I guess it must be good then, and I am probably going to get the whole thing. It won't be like pokemon, right? The first few eps of pokemon are good but then it go on and on and in IMHO it sucks.

There are 26 episode of which there are 17 subbed so far.

No, it won't drag on. This is Clamp. They tell their story and that's more or less it.
The concepts present are kinda like Pokémon but I'll take it over Pokémon any day... I wonder if they put a game out for it yet? :confused:
Angelic Layer by CLAMP is HIGHLY RECOMENDED

No, Clamp is a manga artist group consisting of women(I think?), who made X and Card Captor Sakura and lots of other animes, can't come up with more from the top of my head, but Clamp also made Angelic Layer.

Angelic Layer is pretty good, however, the story moves a bit slow and stuff. Basically it's in the future and kids/adults use a doll called "Angels" fight each other in a VR ring called "Layer". The players are called "Deus" and they use a VR headgear to communicate with their Angels. Good fightings and CG effects, good animations, and music.

There are no Angelic Layer vcd/dvd in store in Canada BC. (But there are lot and lot of AL manga)
I don't want to buy on-line so I guess I have to wait a couple months until I could go back to HK and buy it.
Damn and curse you all store for not having AL ...

Sorry to dissapoint you, but Angelic Layers is still being fansubbed, though the serie has already ended no one has picked the license to this anime yet, so the only way you are gonna get this is either downloading it or buy HK DVD, which might or might not be good.
but the fansubs are already available...
up to episode 17 that is unless animeco have subbed another ep recently

I recently watched episode 15 and it made me lose interest in the series. I still like it, but it's starting to get repetitive and Misaki's annoyance level keeps steadily rising. The "I play Angelic Layer because my family is blah blah blah" theme is really starting to grate on my nerves.
But maybe it's just my blinding hatred for Hatoko-chan that's making me just not care anymore. The show is usually quite enjoyable.
