Then season it with a cup of love and a teaspoon of friendship. Then bake it for 3 hours in kindness and social responsibility, and have an icing of justice on top of it. :kawaii:

It also needs Tomoyo-chan. Just wouldn't be sweet enough, otherwise.
Don't forget to add a touch of ....controversy. It's the secret spice.;)

Thanks to Tomoyo-Chan, CCS has the most colorful and constantly original wardrobe for a heroine in any anime series to date. :kawaii:

Tomoyo is such a sweet, caring, loving and supportive friend. Her mere existence would slam the door on Bible Licking, God Fearing Conservatives who say there can be no such thing as a positive homosexual role models for children. :kawaii: Too bad the image of her kindness is mutilated by Nelvana... :(

Yeah true!! I despise the dubbed version!! She's so annoying!!! The real Tomoyo is so much nicer and lovelier, sweeter and all things that are nice and caring! :)
I know I haven't seen the real version but I've heard so much of her that i know she must be really sweet!

Even as a child, Tomoyo is the embodiment of unconditional motherly love. Therefore, although its unlikely she would marry a guy, if Tomoyo would ever have children, they would have the sweetest and most loving mother in the whole wide world. :kawaii:

Tomoyo as a mother.... at least we know her kids would have a real good collection of pictures and videos of their childhoods. And we know that they'd be the some of the sharpest dressers in town as well. But if she had kids, they'd be pretty damn lucky. Of course, her kids may take on Tomoyos Obsessiveness with Sakura... but Tomoyos kids would prolly be obsessed with Sakuras Kids. :heh:

Tomoyo may be rich, but rich doesn't have to equal being happy, or growing up happy. But we all that ne? But Foxxe, I do agree... being rich does help, but it can only go so far. :)
I'm with you on that. I'm just stating that it's a nice little bonus over and above all her wonderful traits(despite her voyeurism).
What a great wife she would be.:)

Her voyeurism? I never thought of it that way.
One has to wonder though, its true that she'd be a great wife and what not. But what type of personality would her husband (or wife) have? Would they have a similiar personality? or would their personality be a complete 180 of Tomoyos'?

Ahem... Husband, was it? You seem to be forgetting a minor point here. I've always thought it would be more interesting to see Sakura and Tomoyo get toghether anyway. Don't get me wrong; the Li-Sakura pairing is cute, I just wasn't satisfied with the way it played out. But that's just the way things are, so one must wonder just what kind of person Tomoyo would pair up with, if not Sakura. The one possibility I do not entertain is Tomoyo ending up as a lonely psycho like her mother. There's another thread in this somewhere. Hmmm...

Remember that once upon a time Tomoyo blushed when Touya reminded her of Sakura.... but, maybe I'm just pushing the envelople a little too far here... :kawaii:
So we are looking for a Male-type Sakura.
Or maybe we can push Sakura into the Naniichuan and she'll be a reversed Ranma. And both Li....naaaahhh.
We are looking for a guy with Sakura's traits. But which ones. Ultra kawaiiness might not fit a guy as well as a girl.

Within the CCS continuum, the closest would be Yamazaki, an incredibly childish individual. Too bad about the lack of honesty :heh: and responsibility though!! And he's already hitched with Chiharu-Chan!!
Outside the CCS continuum, the only bloke near her age that gentle would be :vomit:.... Ikari Shinji.
If she does not mind someone in his early 20's, Amawa Hibiki of the recent new series Strawberry Egg would be perfect for Tomoyo-Chan. :kawaii:
Till Next Time Take Care Of Yourselves And Each Other. :kawaii:
yukito? It would be pretty cute, although there might be...ahem...objections.

 Well, let me think... He isn't human, he's six or seven years older than her, and he's gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. Touya would be really angry.
Ronin Aquila
26-11-01, 07:55 PM
Hmm, never though Nitrous Oxide made you gay... :heh:
... does it?
Dryden-san
27-11-01, 02:24 AM
See, it's, um, sort of a pun-type thing. Nitrous oxide is laughing gas, laughing people are happy and monkeys are happy, so monkeys inhaling nitrous oxide (and therefore laughing) would be extra happy. Gay can also mean happy, so the pun also works on that level, but Yukito is actually gay (and not as in happy, although that works, too). Really gay. So gay, in fact, that I can describe him as gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. It's a pun working on multiple levels, and it involves monkeys getting stoned. Brilliance! Really, it's just a neat description I came across in a book and I wanted to use it.
Alternatively, you can believe I was drunk out of my mind when I wrote that, and I am now trying to cover my tracks; your decision. What was this thread about, originally?

How to bake CCS. But I think homosexuality/lesbiansexuality is a most relevant ingredient in this show's structure.

The element of homosexuality actually accentuates the show's most positive message: love is all encompassing, and cannot be stopped by the petty boundaries of age, race and sex. :kawaii:

Tomoyo-Chan's tender, sincere and wholehearted love for Sakura-Chan in the scene where she lovingly regarded the first Earser Sakura-Chan ever lent her was simply moving to say the least. :bawling: :kawaii:

I'm all for love and stuff, but lesbianism and gayism(is that a word?) aren't my cup of tea. Doesn't mean that I don't like people who are....that way, but I never get used to the idea of two guys or two girls kissing each other cause they're so in love. I personally blame the movie "Big Daddy." *shivers* the horror....
Ronin Aquila

Sexual love is not the greatest love; if anything, it is the least for lust is fleeting.
Tomyo's deep and unabiding love may be lesbian in nature, but what drives it is a genuinely wholehearted appreciation of her love's existence, as opposed to the mere fulfilment of momentary desire.
Therefore Tomyo's love for Sakura-Chan is anything but impure. :kawaii:
Shenrezade
02-12-01, 11:13 AM
Well, if she loves her friend in the sense of "I love you" and not "I love you" then I don't consider it lesbiansim and it's actually quite nice(for lack of a better word). I've never seen the uncut series, nor read the manga, so I don't what kind of love Tomoya has for Sakura. I've just heard that she loved her, and when they're that young, I find it rather unsettling. Does that help, or did I just utterly confuse everyone?
Ronin Aquila
02-12-01, 05:05 PM
Its assumed that Tomoyo-Chan loved Sakura-Chan before understanding the the concept of sexuality, and therefore would make her love for her a pure one. :kawaii:
Shenrezade
02-12-01, 05:40 PM
But that's what I'm saying. If Tomoya loves Sakura in the sense of.... hmm, how can I explain it.... oh, I know!! How you love God(or your respective deity) then I understand it and think that's a good thing. If that's the kind of love Tomoya has for Sakura, then keep taping, Tomoya:kawaii:!!!
Since Tomoyo can't have Sakura, videotaping her is her way of keeping an aspect of Sakura for herself. That's the way i see it.
