How many songs were used in the Jap ver. Macross?

I've only seen Macross in Cantonese and English so I was wondering how many songs did they use in the Japanese version? I have the soundtrack for the Japanese version of Macross so are all the songs from the movie in the series as well?

Cause I realise that half the songs on the disc isn't in the movie so did they make totaly new music for the movie? (I'm guessing yes but any facts would be helpful :D )

Cause I have the Japanese soundtrack and I'm just wondering if the songs used in the movie were used in the TV series as well. I guess I don't need to know how many, just if the same songs were used.

I'm pretty sure only the basic themes were redressed and used in the Ai wo Oboemasu ka movie. the Japanese soundtrack you have, is it the 3 disc one?

It's been so long since I've seen the original Macross series, I'm not to sure what songs overlap. I know My Boyfriend is a Pilot is in both and that Do You Remember is only in the movie, but other than that, I'm not sure.

I have a cruddy made in Taiwan single CD that every import shop seems to get in in Australia. The cover has the three central characters painted with a bland black background and I think it has all the songs from the movie and the series (including afew of the Christmas tracks) and I also have the BGM (with Hikaru/Rick in a cockpit with the SDF-1 behind it) which has the BGM for both movie and TV series as well. So I hope that it has all the songs on it...
