Dita's character?

i've seen the first season and second season to episode 7, Dita's charecter just doesn't have any substance, and she's getting kinda annoying, even though in episode 7 she was crying in one scene but it really didn't do anything for me, I didn't really fell sorry for at all, just did move me like when Gasco and the little girl died a the end of the series. Looks the Gonzo's pushing for Dita to be the main character girl, by giving her too much screen time in the 2nd season, but it could have a reverse affect on fans, to the point they find her annoying. I swear if they have another dita episode, i'm going to go crazy :), thanks god the next two are meia episodes.

well i must disagree, I liked episode 7 a lot. Yes the emotional ones where really good, but it can't stay like that all the time.
I think they had this episode for bit of lightening up (you aren't really supposed to feel sorry or emotional for her IMO) and so there is a platform to build on so Dita isn't as 'annoying' (its a very cute annoying tho :D)

Can't wait for the rest of Vandread SS, and i heard that the 1st stage is going to be on DVD??

I believe the relationship between dita and hibiki is making this series more interesting.

I think that the fans are looking for both action and character relationships.

Dita had much potential. And yes, she is very kawaii.

Unfortunately, the rest of the crew have so much substance of character in comparison to her that she sometimes becomes relegated to the role of a pain in the neck with an IQ of 3.

Another cute and ditzy lead that suffers from being too much so compared to her sisters is the title lead of Steel Angel Kurumi.

I thought as of lately (ep5+ 2nd stage) Dita's character has been developing nicely. We got to see a little into her past (with the whole smiling issue), and hopefully more of her character will be brought out, because I think she has more potential than the perky/hyper-active character that she is now.

After seeing Episode 6 of Season 2, my perception of her changed drastically. Whereas before Dita's motivation was clear, her childishness was exapsertaing, the revelation of its kind nature made such innocence all the more noble. :)

Dita's alright. However I just love Jura when she's all whinny..like 'I wanna get off!' type thing. I just burst out laughing. Anyway Dita isn't too bad. Misty...well sometimes I think she's alright and then are times when I seriously hate her more than any of the other characters...

Sorry if I was not too terribly clear: Large breasts are attractive. Jura is a fine lady the way she is.

However, huge breasts are simply hideous. Naga the White serpent pays testament to this reality. And considering that we can assume Jura never had any children, the possibility of her hideous size afterwards is chilling to say the least. :bawling:

On a side note, funny about the bust sizes of the following:

Dita= 85 CM
Jura= 93 CM
Ezra= 79 CM

Now, Jura is (ahem) gifted with natural assets. However, how in blue blazes can Dita (Height 158), shorter than Ezra (160) and never borne a child, be more well endowed than she is?

I know Anime does not need to adhere to the laws of realism. I just like to nitpick. Hopefully Ezra-Oneechan will fill out quite nicely in size after her child comes to this universe. She is so kawaii!! :kawaii:

But then again, it may be that I'm just a sucker for the sweet, loving, motherly, big sister type. :kawaii:

well the one u download from some sites that says japanese text support or something lets you see the japanese characters on the site. it doesnt translate them to english, we wish hehe. so ronin needs the software to help i think :D
