The Japanese language track is the same caste. :D The english track is different VAs'. They dont' even sound close to the original english VAs'.... I think the original english caste was better then the movie caste. But thats just my opinion. The timing in the English is slightly off by some of the VAs and the tone that they use at some parts of the movie sounds a bit flat. Other then that, it was almost ok, but it definitely was not bearable. If they had different VAs for the english caste I think it would have sounded a bit better.
Yes, I watched the movie twice last night after work... in both Japanese and in English. And no, I'm not pathetic. :p

I have to say that the copy that I dld in comparison to the DVD.... :jdrop:
The DVD is just so crisp and clear and the audio is just gorgeous... I mean shoot, the rip that I had was rather shady to begin with. The DVD just made it worth it watching it again, this time as it was meant to be seen... in Digital format! :D There were a lot of scenes in the DVD that were so crystal that it made what was going on make sense! In the rip I had, the clarity was soo poor i couldn't tell what exactly was suppose to be appearing.
For example. In the DVD on the opening i could tell there was a dark silouette of Morgan with the Earth as the backdrop, which was something I couldn't tell with my poor quality rip.
Basically, DVD just owns over all of those hong kong or dl rips. :p

Well then with that as an appraisal I’ll have to get it even sooner ^_^
Tho as I said mine was a bootleg not a rip, strait out of the movies hehe, so it was much better then the rips you can download that I’ve seen of the movie, but the sound could have been better,
Congrats to you...
I need to get some cash so I can buy it too :bawling:... It's nice to hear the DVDs good ^_^.

Juliet Cesario and Scott Simpson, the VA's for Belldandy and Keiichi in the OAVs, were in love with each other IRL. That probably helped make their characterizations sound more authentic. :D They're married now, BTW. ;)
Most people, even some who don't like dubs in general, have liked the OMG dub. I liked most of it, though Urd tended to sound valley-girlish. ;) It'll be interesting to see the general reaction to the movie's VA's.

Does it have a transcript/translation of the lyrics for Belldandy, Urd and Skuld's Latin ballad? :kawaii:
I really need those lyrics for next year's cosplay. :kawaii:
