lol, good question :D Probably because thats the first guy they met when they all crashed onto earth... and got hooked? I dunno! :)

no no, Ryoko crashes to earth 700 years before, Washu does no such thing. Aeka and Sasami meet him before crashing to earth.

Anyhow tenchi is a nice guy, thats why they all like him.
