Well now that Gascogne is ... uh.. you know. Do you think Barnette will be a good replacement? How many of you miss her? Poor Hibiki can't play cards and lose a whole bunch of times anymore...! When I first seen her I thought she was a guy. But thats just me. :D

that was sad, i miss her :( she was a cool character. i think barnett will be an okay replacement she seemed to do fine when hibiki was down in episode 7

but i still cant believe shes gone, man i wish they didnt do it, that she was still alive oh well maybe later on that can happen :D

yeah, that was one of the bad things about the second stage. They killed her off, dammit.

knowing the series, though, she'll still be alive. Hibiki was swallowed by a mothership and was dumped out of it again, still intact.

Well I already miss the 'Smile! Smile!'...we'll definately have to see...but yeah. She's still in the intro..after you see Hibiki the first face you see is her's...and also when it shows everyone as the opening closes you still see her witht he group.

Barnette's not gonna replace Gasco-san that much lol.

But she did get a better attitued.After all she took on the role of Hibiki's counselor,while the old Barnette would have rather shot Hibiki.

Well,she did lead an anti-men revolt and put the other two guys in prison.

In any case I really like how Barnette evolved.I'm sure she'll do a fine job leading the Register

I like how she's doing now. She's not Gasco-san, but she's trying and I like that. Plus there isn't the same level of tension between her and Hibiki anymore too.

I definatly like the new Barnette better than the old one, but it sux that the killed Gascogne. I'm glad we found out why she insisted on that name rather than Gasco.

Yeah that's true.When someone dies in a flashy explosion the odds are she'll comeback someday.

How did that wire change into a key though?Magnetic chips inside it?

yah a return for gasco :D hmm for the key, it formed to a key when u applied some pressure onto it buti dunno. maybe if u squeezed hard enough the metal wll bend when it hits thast certain spot of pressure or something :heh:

There is a new metal alloy, I don't remember its name, Memory something. Anyway, when heated to a certain temperature the metal automatically return to its original shape, I guess in the future they could have adapted the technology to react to something else, but it is possible.

Yeah, something like that. What happened to it. At the end of Ep 6 I saw Barrnette give the box to the Boss, but I didn't see the key.

Then what was the point of giving the box to the Boss?

Cause I got the impression that there was something significant about that.(I haven't seen after ep 6)

well i guess the box was given to the boss, because gasco was kinda like a daughter to her as long as the rest of the crew, but the boss was with gasco the longest so she and her were more personal, so i guess the box was given to her as a memory of gasco

The Boss considered all the girls on board her daughters and kept everything that is dear to her in her bed room, that is where the box is, along with stuff from other fallen comrades, mostly just pictures. Box just has an emotional value I guess. BTW the Boss is blond, I never expected that. I asume from how she kept her head under the hood all the time, that she is either brownish or grey. Also in the pictures next to her bed the Boss has a father like in otosan instead of Oma(or was it farma), she might not be from Meijira.

She does have a greater knowledge of the ships(Ikazuchi) origin and story.

Meia's Oma looked rather masculine too,although this one really looks more like a man.And who do you think the baby she's holding in the picture is?

There is probably some significance to the baby otherwise they wouldn't have shown the picture so deliberately. Maybe a long lost little brother or sister that we are going to meet in future episodes. But I think the father in the picture is most definately a man, since men get a different skin color, also he is wearing clothing that are typical for the men from Tarakuu.

Yeah,I think the Boss was born on earth and lived the "separation".

I noticed Duero speaks respectively of Hibiki's grandfather as a 1st generation citizen,wich means the colonization has happened around 90 years ago.

Yeah, that makes sense. I've been thinking all along that the Boss may have been one of the origanal colonyists.

the boss was one of the 1st generations so i think she had a mother and father. the baby is important, if u watch episode 9 u find out why :D

Ah, but I get them off a friend who only gets them when there are 3 (Cause 3 fit on a CD).

So I have to wait, cause I don't know where to download them. It really sucks.

There are already 9 episodes, so he should have given you two more cd's by now:D. You could always ask him where he downloads it.
