just saw PRINCESS MONONOKE!!!

and i loved it!!! it was excelent... a truly amazing movie. however, it wasn't sad at all... i heard it was VERY sad....................

yes,it was an amazing movie(anime or not).i kept on thinking how hard it must have been to animate those wormy tentacles on the demons.


anyway,my favorite scene was in the very beggining where the prince fights the Boar God and he gets his curse.i like that scene so much because it told me that there was a very good movie ahead.

My favorite part was After Ashitaka got wounded at the fort and was carrying San out the front gate and collapsed. One of the wolves asks "Can we eat him?" I thought that was pretty funny, considering he just saved San's life (theoretically).

I also liked the part where he is fighting the soldiers near the beginning and one of them looses their head. The headless soldier rides for like 100 meters before falling off the horse. That was great, just the look on the other soldier's face...

Anyway, the movie rocks...

hmmm... i think i liked the scene at the end when plants grows everywhere, it was just wonderful. But my favorite moments, have to be when Ashitaka try to save San from the evil spirits on the old boar(not just when she's on the boar, but the whole scene up to when he takes her in the water.)

Yeah the bow and arrow parts were pretty cool :lol: *fling* the arrow whistles and wobbles all over! ooooh! there goes the bad guys head!... and the guy behind him! and another! :lol:

Fave scene..wow that's difficult...I'll limit to two.

1. When San feeds Ashitaka by chewing up the food...beautiful.
2. From when San enters the base to when Ashitaka pushes open the gate by himself.
I love that movie.

Great movie, lets hope that the DVD is good so we can enjoy it in the privacy of our own homes. Ahem...
Best scenes....

1. The first time Ashitaka shoots his arrow, cutting the guys arms off. You should have seen the crowds reaction. They all did one of those 'awesome' gasps with the giggle after it. I tell ya, the crowd didn't know what hit 'em.

2. The feeding Ashitaka bit. For some reason, I find that bit sad. It nearly brings me to tears. The music is so fitting, the backgrounds are so lush, excuse me...I have something in my eye.

3. The bit where they close up the Iron Village for the night. The music is really good and it is very atmospheric.

4. The part where Ashitaka leaves his home village. That's pretty sad too, with the music. He has to leave and can never go back. I really felt for the poor guy.

I would go as far as to say that both the animation and music in Princess Mononoke are as perfect as anyone will ever get. And although I loved it, I thought Princess Mononoke lacked some of the character and charm of his earlier works.

Any part with the little "clicky-head guys." (My friend Amy calls them that...) :P They are just so cute...

I also like the part when uhhh... I forget her name... But after Lady Eboshi and the men go back to Iron Town... And then shortly after Ashitaka shows up with the two wounded men... One of the wounded men's wife starts saying stuff... I don't even remember what they said... But it was funny...

I also like when Ashitaka shows San and Lady Eboshi his curse... It looks awesome...

Uhhh... How about I just say the whole movie...?
