Fuu's sword

Has anyone wondered why Fuu's weapon changed from being a bow and arrow to a sword? they never actually explain it in the series, but I do recall that they acquire weapons that the knights prefer.

It was rather logical for Hikaru and Umi to have swords because those were the same weapons that they've mastered and use back on earth, but How come Umi's weapon suddenly changes to a sword when she meets Ceres? I doubt that she can use it really well since she's more trained in using the bow and arrow.

The way I see it, their heart chose the best weapon for them at the start. Each getting a weapon suited to their style of offensive tactics. As you said Hikaru and Umi got swords and each of these swords suited their discipline. Fuu got a bow and arrow. They are told to get the weapons required to become Magic Knights they need escudo, escudo is required to make the weapons necessary to become magic knights and revive the rune gods. The weapons made by Presea take the form of swords, this is most likely due to the fact that to become the legendary magic knights you need the rune god and a sword made of escudo which evolves. Also I think the evolving armour given to them by Clef also plays a part.

Although I understand all the why's, I have to say it would have been more interesting and logical if they had gotten the escudo and got evolving weapons that matched them like in the beginning. Hikaru a sword, Umi a rapier, and Fuu a bow. I'm just a big fan of archery though, so I'm biased XD

I didn't understand why Fuu lost her bow as well but I really love her sword and I'm willing to overlook it.

Ah come on, Fuu's sword can put a long sword and a bow too shame.:D
Think about it, its F'ing HUGE, its a simple design and it's as light as a feather. And if you add her magic to the sword it is a nuke with wings.:nuke: :smash: :nuke:

I did sort of like the distinction that the 2 swords and a bow brought, but I think the 3 swords works just fine as well ^_^ At least they differentiate from one another (Umi has the rapier-like sword, Hikaru's is more like a broadsword, and Fuu's is a longsword (a very long sword))

I recently started watching MKR (thanks to my friend), I've been dying to see it for a long while now. I absolulty love it so far ^_^ (Up to episode 8)
