Newbie!!!

Hi,
Im a newbie to CC and I really would like to know the BASIC story on the whole plot. THANKS!!!:confused:

Hey welcome to the board ;).


Hm.... I'll try to sum up as much of the story as I can with out totally spoiling it.

Story starts out with a ten year old girl named Sakura. Who finds a book that has a bunch of cards in it. Sakura does something that makes all of the cards(except one) that were in the book scatter all over the city. After the cards are gone the guardian of the book comes and sees that the cards are no longer in the book. He asks Sakura what happened to the cards. Sakura tells me him what happened. The guardian tells her that since she released them she has to help seal the cards again. He then dubs her Card Captor Sakura.

That's basicly the story line of the first season. Sakura(with the help of the guardian) goes and tries to seal all the cards up. But there more to the story then that. Sakura must also try to keep up with her normal life and her role as Card Captor Sakura and how the card tend to show up at some of the worst times.

Sakura also has a bunch of friends and family that your introduced to during he quest/jorney(what every you prefer to cal it). She has a friend that is obsesied with her. A brother that picks on her all the time but still cares for her. A friend of her borthers that Sakura has a crush on(and so do a few other people ;) ). Her father kind caring man. There are also some other friends that are to important to the story line so I won't go into that. Then there is some who is also looking to capture the cards. This person becomes Sakura's rival(in more ways then one :p). The rival also had someone helping him(who you meet a little bit later on in the season).


Well....I hope that helps. I tried to do my best to give you the informantion you needed without spoiling anything. There is more to the story then just what I've mentioned but you have to watch it to find out ;).


Thats just for the first season. There are two more seasons after this one.

It's on WB. Which is channel 11 were I live. Might be different for you,depending on were you live. If you live outside the U.S it is shown in other contries but I have no idea when and what channels.



All I know is that for me it's on WB at 3:30 pm(EST). Though right now there in there near the end of the third season.


Oh, and the American dub sucks. Don't even bother watching it. The chopped up the orignal Card Captor Sakura and changed it into Card Caprtors. Most of the orignal story of Card Captor Sakura was either cut or changed around when it was made into Card Captors.

Most(if not all) Card Captor Sakura fans see the American dubb as evil,choped up,B.S(and I'm one of them:) )


Your better off with trying to get the subbed version, which is done by Pioneer. There doing an excullent job so far with the sub. They put four episodes on each dvd or vhs. However only 5 dvds are currently availilble. DVD1(eps. 1-4), 2(eps. 5-8) 3(eps. 9-12), 5(eps. 17-20), 6(eps. 21-24). The fourth one got delayed
and is scheduled for release on January 15,2002 along with the seventh dvd. Pioneer is really milking the release of the CCS epiosdes.

Your other altenative is to buy and import the whole series online. Some were like Ebay would probably be your best bet. That is if you want to do it that way. Or you could just sit around and wait for Pioneer to hopefully/enventually relase all 70 episodes of CCS.

Actually, I have never seen CCS...:lol: I have only seen CC...:( Oh well.
