Can someone please explain the story behind Furi Kuri

I have watched about 3 times and I STILL DONT GET IT

hm well its about haruko whos interested in uh noata ( i think thats how u spell his name :heh: ) well if u remember u saw that if he got emotionaly distressed stuff came out of his head. haruko wanted atomisks power and noata was the key in getting the power. thats why she always hung around him and did all them ahem stuff to him. and as u saw in episode 6 he was swallowed by the gate thing and he was the key that let atomisk out. but noata was able to get his power rather haruko which got her ticked. so they have a lil fight but in the end noata realy does fall for haruko and then atomisk is then out of noatas head and flies somewhere else. in the end haruko leaves in chase of atomisk and then noata starts school again and the gutair haruko leaves behind twings which show there could be a sequel .. :D hope that helps :lol:

So those robot thingys comin out of his head just come when he is distressed?

someone (i think the eyebrows guy, cant remember his name)says somewhere that between the left and right side of the brain there is some sort of hyperspace thing (off the top of my head) that can be used (only in certain people) to transport stuff....... Naota is one of those people and hence things pop out from his head. A bit wierd, but it is FLCL :D

Basically the plot is like this:
- Medical Mechanica (they own the Iron shaped facotry) goes through space screwing up planets
- The robots that pop out of Naota's head will start up the Medical Machine factory (the iron) which will destroy the Earth.
- Atomsk (huge red thing) is a powerful guy and doesn't like them. He is captured by Medical Mechanica to help them.
- Haruko loves Atomsk's power and wants it, so she follows him around and wants to free him. She seems to also be invloved in some bigger plot that we don't see (talking to the cat like a radio, she is on a 'mission')
- Naota is not a normal guy and for some reason can use Atomsk's power (something like that). So Haruko 'recruits' him to help her release Atomsk.
- The Department of immigration (name?) wants to protect Earth by not letting the Factory start up.

I'm sure there are mistakes as to the details, but thats the general idea of the story.
However, think of FLCL as more a commentary on life and a story at the same time.
