Manga Vs. Anime

personally, id say manga, because its much more detailed, but the anime is good as well, because you can actually see the characters..well...animated =P

so what do you guys think??

Manga, no question about it. I've only seen the first tape of the anime, and read the first two manga, but based on that, I'd say that the manga is much better. I don't know, but something about the animation style just irks me. Plus, they cut a lot out in the anime. Shuro, who had this whole big cool thing in the manga, is only in one episode of the anime! ... Have I ever mentioned that Shuro is my favorit character? ^_^.

yep, i agree Manga....more detailed and character exploration, like BackstageMark had mentioned, although the anime wasn't too bad either ^_^

i would say that watase yu's artwork looks better in manga...when its transfered to anime, it just dosen't look as good..

I totally agree with all of you! I've been reading the mangas until the anime series came out. I luv reading the mangas better then anime. In the manga, I luv watase's art work..She really took the time to develop her characters.

Okay, so in the anime, you can actually see the characters in action, but the manga is still much more better. The way Yu watase introduced Yuuhi in the manga was much more better than what they did in the anime. And I think that the manga was more funnier. I only have the first volume (the translated version)... and the first two DVDs, but i can see the differences

I haven't actually read the manga but from what I've seen the manga... first of all just about every anime comes from a manga and a ton is taken out... so usually the manga is always better

eh the manga... since i only have that one... wee, i wanted to get the anime but coiuldn't find it... but in Fushigi Yugi, the anime, the drawings were rather off, and had less story to it then the manga... well thats what i thought, i can be wrong =3

i would have to say manga. i read the Chinese language version of it that my friend purchased when she was in Taiwan. i've only seen snippets of the anime (snippets ^__^ what a funny word). the drawings in the manga are more detailed and maybe prettier *^.^
