CHEAT TIMES + CHALLENGE 20!!!!!!

I hate Challenge 20!!! It's so difficult. Usually, I beat the HardSims easily - but that's due to how I play. I'm crap at deducing where the enemy will spring from, so I always get shot once. Then, without delay, I go into speed-strafing and rapid fire. Then I reload when they die. It works - except for the fact that Challenge 20 is one-hit-kill! Also, as soon as I'm in the lead... the pansy HardSim goes and picks on my teammate!!! I tried putting my NormalSim on 'follow' and holding ground in the bit with the chute leading down... I crouched, predicted the direction he would come from and shot. It worked... until he shot my NormalSim (who was standing). She reincarnated, but didn't come to me even though she was on 'follow'! The HardSim chased her and killed her repeatedly... luring me out into the big room and killing me hands down. AAARRGGHHH!!!! There MUST be an easier way to do this!

Also, The cheat times are really tough! Two in particular bother me - dD Defection, Special agent, 1:50, and Area 51: Escape, Agent, 3:50. With the first, I'm doing fine until I reach the second console for the ECM mine - then I stop to shoot the troopers, and it's too late. And if I run past them, they kill me before I can plant the mine, or they shoot me and make me miss the console, failing the mission! HELP!
As with A51, It's that conversation with Johnathon and Elvis at the end. Any way to skip it?

I had a bit of trouble with challenge 20 too. But once you use the right tactics its fairly easy. this is the way i did it:

Put the sim onto follow and go to an area with only one or 2 ways to access it. One of the areas with red lighting is ideal. Keeping your eye on the radar is a must. Use the radar to tell when and from what direction the sim will come. Its best to use the magsec on 3 round burst, as the enemy sim will nearly always have a sheild, and the first shot will only destroy the shield. Alternatively, the Mauler is also useful because it has a fast fire rate.

If youre feeling lucky use the mauler on a charged up shot or the magnum, as they'll kill a sim with a shield in one shot, but be sure you make the first shot count, as the charge up mauler and magnum take a while beteen shots, in which time the sim will probably kill you. However id personaly recomend the magsec 3 round burst and normal mauler. You can sometimes use the radar to anticipate exactly when the sim will come charging around the corner, so if you think he's about to appear start shooting before you actually see him.

If the sim you're protecting dies dont go chasing after her, just put her back on follow and wait for her to come to you, even if it mean her dieing a couple of times, its vital to keep your position and know when the enemy sim will attack you.

An alternative meathod that ive never used, but have heard works, is to camp next to the shield. The first thing the enemy sim normaly does is go straight for the shield, so when he comes to get it blast him.

Hopefully this should let me get through it, especially as waiting in the red area will allow me to see where the sim is coming from more easily than before. It's just that damn NormalSim that gives me trouble... but it's probably more luck than judgement when it comes to Sim survival!

what u need 2 do is have 2 players, go in2 combat sim. 1st player goes in2 advanced setup and go down to pick load settings, but dont choose anytin yet. then usin the palyer 2, go choose a challenge w/ that controller and start it. it shood b in the challenge mode now(the all red bg). then wit the player 1 choose one of the presets and it will go 2 game setup. just start the game and it will b a normal game. when ur finished the challenge will b done and u didnt have 2 do anythin.

That's why you play it again. And again. And again. Until you get better.

When I beat challenge 20 (Did you yet?), though, after sitting around for a few minutes, my sim just took off for no reason what-so-ever.

And for 004 saying "If you feel lucky, use the mauler"... if you feel REAL lucky :B: Of course, odds are, if you're hiding in the corner... you don't feel lucky. 2x magsec (hell, even one) on 3-round burst. Watch the radar (if you have autoaim, and are in the right spot, the gun will point to the side, then straight, before the sim shows up), and as soon as the sim appears, open fire on the SOB. Should go down pretty easy. If he gets you, your sim will probably get him, so just run back in a hurry, and, uhh, hide behind your sim, I guess :)

20 is one-hit-kills in the sewer (or whatever it was) with pistols. You had a normal or easy sim on your team, enemy was perfect sim. That one sucked so bad :)
