Though not exactly an active member of the cast, Ezra-Oneechan is easily the most lovable member of the Nelvana crew. :kawaii:

Maybe its her cheerful and sweet demeanour. Maybe its that warm glow that young mothers have. Or perhaps its just that she is such a kind, caring and loving big sister, who is quite pretty to boot. :kawaii:

Also, its so nice to have somebody give you an understanding shoulder to cry on and a warm comforting hug as well. Also, Ezra-Oneechan is so forgiving. Unlike any other women, who would have killed the irresponsible and weak man who fainted at the sight of her child's birth, she kindly forgave Hibiki for that same crime. Isn't that just so sweet!! :kawaii:

Finally, her smile, nay, her whole person, is just so darn kawaii!! :kawaii:

I know I may seem strange. But judging from the popularity of girls like Belldanady (from Oh My Goddess ) I hope I'm not the only one who finds Motherly And Loving Big Sisters like Ezra-Oneechan an extremely appealing young lady. :kawaii:

Of course. Ezra-Oneechan's kind and reassuring smile is like a shining beacon within on a dark night, welcoming the weary warrior back from a treacherous ocean of storm, blood and violence to a harbour of warmth, nurturing and recovery. :kawaii:

She really reminds me of my Senpai's dimunitive wife in Kung Fu-Class. While everyone else was talking about how sh!tty life was over alcohol at the end of year social, she was practically glowing with joy and warmth. Sure, she was sort of chubby at the time, but that made her all the more kawii to look at. :kawaii:

I practically wanted to give her a big hug had I not remembered over my drunkedness that my senpai can shatter five boards with one kick. :heh:

I'm happy to say that as we write, she is now the proud mother of an adorable little girl, sleeping soundly in her arms. :kawaii:

Well, Gascone is more of the "Stylish and Cynical Auntie" archtype, like Aunt Haruka of "Love Hina." Meia is the intense, cold and bitter type, like Ayanami Rei of "Evangelion." Ezra is the closest person on the ship to the "sweet big sister" type.

The Earthquake on Tuesday the 18th of December 2001, however, was real , on a rictor scale of 7 in the central parts of Taiwan. :(

Also, AHEM Mister DNA Master, considering China's constant threat of Thermonuclear Anihilation of we declare independence, it would be much more politically tasterful if you chose a less uranium based explosive in your Taiwanese based humour piece next time. :(

Before this turns into a flame war, I will jump back on topic. Funny, how besides Ezra Oneechan, there are not many attractive young mothers in anime. Sad that, isn't it? :confused:

While we're on a roll,maybe we'd better try and break him of the habit of putting a simlly on every line. It ain't really necisary. Look at me for example, I only use smillies to empathsie important points. They lose their importance if used overly much.

No, mister Wormy. I use the kawaii simile when I describe people or things I have a particular fondness or love for. Ezra-Oneechan, being the sweet lady that she is, has earned my affection for the appropriate use of such a simile. I use the sadface simile because may people lost their homes in that motherlovin earthquake and because most Taiwanese do not find the idea of being fried to fallout particularly amusing. :(

Also, as the signatures are temporarily off, I use the Jerry Springer Singoff whenever I feel particularly happy or thoughtful. Otherwise, I just use the following:

Well, constantly closed eyes denotes that a character possesses one, or more, or all of the following characteristics:

1) Constantly Happy

2) Sweet and Innocent

3) Head In The Clouds

4) Warm and Loving

5) Mischeavious

Ezra Oneechan possesses qualities 1-4. Another example would be Love Hina's Kitsune, who possesses 1, 4, and 5.

Meaning, that they selectively seek out the inner good of all people and things. In their faith in the good will of humanity, they are beyond the pretentiousness and cynicism that warp and complex the world more than it needs to be.

Hence, they are able to comprehend the fundamental truth of the universe; In that though bad things happen, things are never as bad as one may think it is. In comprehending such a revelation, they have therefore attained contentment in their existence and hence inner peace.

Therefore, although they may not be intelligent in the practical sense, they are definitely the wisest cast members of their respective shows in terms of emotional maturity. Otohime-San's otherwise champion level scores in simulation exams pays testament to this wisdom. I'm sorry, but I will have to disagree with you. Meia beats Ezra in the shoulder to cry category. Meia gave big sister support more than anyone in the series, especially if you take the things she did in the first season into account. And Ezra isn't all that mature either, take ep. 8 for example.
