While I was watching one of my CCS dvds I was thinking about something. I was thinking how long it will take Pinoeer to finish subbing the rest of the sereis. So I took a piece and a pen and tried to see how long it would take. First I looked at the facts that I had: One, there are four episodes on each tape/dvd and two Pinoeer is releasing one dvd every other month.

First I diveded 4(the number of episodes of each dvd) by70(the total amount of episodes. I got 17 with a remander of 2. So there are gonna be 17 dvd/tapes released. But there's still those last two episodes. There's a few ways that can go. They can either put the last two episodes on a dvd by them selves, put five episodes on the last two dvd/tapes or take the last(from 65-70) and split it to three episodes on each dvd. So if it might end up actually being eight-teen dvds.

At Pinoeer's current rate of release the dvds will take about 2 years for them to finish, thats not counting the second movie. That means that at this rate the series won't be done being subbed till December 2003. At that's not counting in the fact that there are any delays. If there are any delays then look for the it to be done in 2004.

So, unless Pioneer starts releasing the dvds every month or releases two dvds every other month then some of us have a long wait ahead of us.

What would you like to see done? I been very happy with the quality of there CCS DVD's, having to wait at least two years for them to finish subbing the series is a long time to wait.....

If you dont' want to wait, find a friend who has the series fansubbed and watch it. If you've seen the whole series alreadly, you can wait for it to come out on dvd. 2 years may seem like a long time, but if you want quality work done on each dvd, trust me... you can wait. Besides, that just means more anime dvd box sets for me to collect later on. :D

Or you could just get could try to copies of subbtitled ones from a hong kong dvd deailers if you can find them and there about half the retail price. the one close to me has two CCS box sets 4 dvd's per box, 4 eps per dvd. 32 ep all up. unedited versions full of the CLAMP goodness that is left out of the other one.

There's a couple sydney but i couldn't tell you where to find any else where.

It'll probarbly be done like The Nadesico DVD's in that the last two DVD's will have an extra episode on them.
