Ghost In The Shell?

Why is there not ghost in the shell section, does noone like it? I feel that it should have its own thread dont you?

Because there is little topic on the movie ((prob because its only a Movie ))



There are some anime movies that have there own forums here ,,((even tho I don't think they deserve it)) but they are there because of people talking about the movie somewhat ...

I'm not a doll said it perfectly. Most of those forums don't thrive for long. You can even look at ones on small ova's like the burn up or oh my goddess forum's wich barely keep alive.

I think everyone covered the reasons why it doesn't have it's own forum....but there's a lot of fans of GIST here nonetheless. GIST was my first anime ever and I'm a huge fan of the manga as well. GO KUSANAGI!*waving Kusanagi flag*

Actually, maybe there will be enough discussion to justify a forum soon....after all, there is a GIST TV series coming out and (I think?) a sequel to the movie.

I disagree with you about the OMG! forum Kurai, there's an OVA, a movie, a 32 ep. series of shorts, and tons of manga. We have plenty to chat about with that one. But yeah, I don't know how much conversation you can have about a one-shot.

gomennasai I forgot about the mini adventures and movie, but still you must admit that the forum never has to many threads at any given time.

Akira and Ninja Scroll are great too. Either go to the request forum and hope for the best or just post in the Anime Movies/DVD forum; I visit there.

I think there's plenty to talk about. There's the religious imagery, the relationship between man and his creations, the affect of computerization on humanity, and Mamoru Oshii's brilliant style.

Then there's the manga written by Masamune Shirow.

Start some topics on Ghost in the Shell and ill post, im watching it right now :) one of my few animes I still have on VHS that I havent gotten rid of.
