At the end of an episode, theres a preview of the next episode and Misato usally says "and there will be some fan service too".
What does Fan Service mean???

I believe this was explained in the old eva board as being the hentai'ish material found in the episodes.

well, hentai'ish sounds fine to me (since hentai is just 'pervert', but used for all of the anime porn out there). Hm. . .how about, the revealing shots of Misato, etc (female eva cast)?

So in episode 2, Misato Is giving the Pervs "Major Fan service"

Although Rei and Auska are suppose to be 14 years old they give the pervs Fan service. Is that right??? Child Molesting must be a problem in Japan if Shows like Eva do this. At least Misato is suppose to be 20 something
