um...question about vandread..

i havent seen vandread yet, but im planning on watching it soon..so i have a few questions:

how many episodes is vandread? and how many episodes are in the 2nd stage?

It's really like one series and was half done with no real ending to the first stage. Another series was done like this called Canidate For Goddess but that wasn't popular and Vandread was so Vandread is being completed (second stage) while CFG isn't.

Hopefully their is a movie after second stage is done as well that would rock

How do you know there are 13 eps in Second stage, cause nobody else has been able to tell me. There were gueses of 20 or more being thrown around eailier.

And Vandread had more of an ending than CFG. CFG stoped in the middle of the serris seamingly, while Vandread at least had a final battle, even if it turned out to only be one of 6 mother ships.

Second Stage will have 13 episodes, but I am 80% sure it will drag on to atleast one more season, so we will probably have a third season. ;)

Thats more like it, cause they'd have to kill one Mother ship every ep to finish it by ep 13 of Second stage.

Then you haven't seen episode 2 then, there are literally thousands of motherships coming out of earth. At this rate it would last forever unless they can build some kind of weapon of mass destruction.

I have seen ep 2. And I assumed there was some kind of mistake with that or someting. Cause at all other times they have said there are 5. (4 after ep 6 I assume).

So the others, if they exist, are obviusly in a far distant part of the galaxy, and no concern of the Nirvana's.

Well the destruction of one mothership in the first stage sent an alert to all other motherships.

Seems like the Nirvana crew will have to attack earth directly to stop the harvesters

Let's see the fanusbbers tell me 13, it was suppose to be one complete series in the first place (13+13 = guess what 26)

at the press conference when they first introduced vandread they said there making a 13 episode series but can be expanded to a 26 episodes show if enuff support becomes availble.

if they leave it open-ended, then there is sure to be another series and/or movie.

such as Nadesico.... Prince of Darkness is still open-ended, so with any luck another movie will come out.... c'mon gonzo, get to work. I want to see Vandread-quality animation with Nadesico!

That was a pretty interesting anime... A lot of CG effects and such. Most people didn't like that though for some reason.

I quite liked it.. although the mutant critters where kind of crappy looking. its did have some great sea battles, and the MSDF boat owned.

This anime fanatic I know told me,his got this information from a 'reliable anime news network' whatever that means.Apparently Gonzo struck a deal with another company (Pioneer I think) for more cash to make more episodes...........
