View Full Version : Who would you go out with?

This is maybe a stupid question, but i thought it could be funny anyway.

Who would you go out with if you could??

I would definetly go out with Jura if i could, but i cant really say why. She just seems to be a nice girl, but she is misunderstood all the time.

Is it possible her perfect body and sexy outfit have anything to do with it? :naughty:

I don't know myself.Maybe one of the two operating girls, they're cute :) And Barnette is really nice now that she dropped her feminazi attitude

Jura, because I just love dominant women. Barnette, because any women with that many guns has to be good in bed (and I just love tight leather). Busom Callessa (BC) because she's a dominatrix. Dita because she's cute. Pai because I have a Lolita complex. Meia, err... no, she scares me, and her breasts disappear once she takes off that torso armor.

I don't mind her slender proportions. Meia only looks like an ice queen. She is actually one of the kinder girls. Communication is important in a relationship and Meia excels at that.

Yeah,I noticed that too...Well she did say before she doesn't care how big her breasts are. She's not the overly feminine type like Barnette and Jura

DNA_Master
28-12-01, 02:00 AM
well, if she gets a little fresher with Duero, then she may take them them off...

either that or we'll see her head-on with light behind her, then they should be transparent.

watch closely, parfait-fans....

tekblade
28-12-01, 05:09 PM
hmmm i dunno about the light in front of her face cause if uremember i think there was a scene were light was shown but the other engineer girl with glasses, we saw her eyes, but parfait's so i think she has incredibly thick glasses or she has them glasses that can stand up against light :heh:

Ah maids, the almost perfect girlfriend. Really shows the popular bloke desire for a completely devoted partner for life, considering the current flood of maid shows out in the current market ( Steel Angel Kurumi, Hanaukyo Maid Division, Library of the Heart, Angel's Tail to name a few).

The appeal of maids can be summed up in this sleazy classic jazz song:

I don't want you to be no slave

the "Y" unit was the "add-on" for the Nadesico that was taken off its sister ship... basically its a pair of Phase-Transition engines, and they can be used to make "space-bubbles" and annihilats everything in the area... but thats a topic for the Nadesico forum.

Ronin Aquila
17-01-02, 06:02 AM
Sanity and intelligence are two mutually exclusive aspects, my friend. I may not be the smartest person in the world, but at the very least I am an University student, thank you very much. :(

I am merely insanely angry and bitter about being born after a sister who blames everything that is wrong about her life on me because her father treats me better on the account of being a boy. :(

At mom's death three years ago, instead of being a man and staying in Melbourne to look after his now broken family, Dad instead opted to go back to Taiwan to look after Grandpa, in spite of already having two brothers to do so. Knowing full well that my sister bad temper is now worse after mom's departure, and her being a girl means I can't do Jack-Sh!t about it, he threw me to the wolves to fend for myself, and does Jack-Sh!t during his brief visits when she chucks a tantrum, because she is a girl. :(

Then Presto , whenever I lose my temper because I have borne months of steam, everyone blames everything on me because I am a boy. Isn't it a fair world we live in folks? Everything is the male's fault!! :bawling:

I may not be the most sane individual in the world, mister, but with all due respect , please do not call me an idiot for merely trying to find an outlet for my rage, laughing at people worse off than me so I can feel better about my excreable excuse of a life , thank you very much!! :(

Well, just having finished the 1st stage and currently watching the 2nd stage, I have to put my two chips in. I'd go with BC. Gotta love the women in charge (no, not commander grannie) :D My second choice would be Jura. Leather is good... Meia is alright too. Dita is too ditzy, Gascogne has huge guns, Barnette is too man-hating, and Pai is just scary. Anyways, does Parfait remind anyone of Naru with her glasses on?

Ronin Aquila
25-01-02, 05:05 AM

DNA_Master
26-01-02, 06:39 AM
but the REALLY good thing about not being able to see their eyes is that during a really emotional scene (ie Parfait kisses duero?) they might even go transparent and we are finally rewarded by seeing their eye colour..

tell me Ronin Aquilia, does you Vandread art book give eye colour stats?

The course I'm doing is a four-year Bachelor of Agricultural Science. I plan to specialise in third and fourth years (thats the only years I get options) into pest control and entomology, as I wouldn't mind getting into Biocontrol, the science of controlling pests with predators that don't attack native flora and fauna. Its really fascinating stuff, if youre into it, which I am.

tekblade: a really good pen and paper RPG is Cyberpunk 2020, by R. talasorian games. its quite good, very old-school anime Cyberpunk style, as in Ghost in the Shell, maybe a bit of akira, stuff like that. I love it.... my character carries almost as many guns as Barnette did.

Remember how boys didn't like girls and vice versa when we were in Kindergarten until Grade 6? You don't learn to love the other sex until you are conditioned by your culture to do so.

In fact certain ancient cultures, especially pre-Roman Greece and Japan in the Toyotomi era, preach that feminine sexuality is a castrating force that undermines masculinity, and therefore the love between two men is stronger and more precious than heterosexual love can ever be. :heh:

Thank God those eras are past. :heh:

When you look at it from their perspective, it becomes clearer. They do not even know what is sexy, attractive, or even appealing in an "alien", let alone to grow fond towards one. Conditioned (or more correctly, brainwashed) since birth, it is rather hard to shake off one's "normal" habits in favor of heterosexuality, for his or her "nature" is engraved into his or her personality by the time the individual is 16. :heh:

Till Next Time Take Care Of Yourselves And Each Other. :kawaii:

But I'm talking about the most basic instincts here... There must be some of them left, because sometimes you see the characters giggle, blush and do other kinda things. I guess their emotions towards the opposite sex are... well, they are there, but they're not so well formed, they confuse them. But thats cute, I guess. Jura is the best one in discovering her feminine side, I guess. =)

Yeh as to the "Is hibiki just totally gay comment" you do have to take into consideration the sitution in the vandread universe. All the men think the meer sight or sound of a female will kill them - true there is an obvious change in views the last 2-3 eps (society wise) Even though Hibiki has been with women since 2nd ep of 1st stage it would take a while to get used to the new ways ...

Still prefere Dita over all the other women though :)

Any girl who unconditionally hugs and adores you is a lovely one.

Though Ezra-Oneechan is much more cuddly and huggable, so I love her the best!! :kawaii:

I'll still go with Jura. What would YOU do, if she'd come and you to "unite" with her? :P

And I just cant help it - every anime girl voiced by Asakawa Yuu is just totally superior to others. To me, at least.

The sweetest and nicest however has to be Kawasumi Ayako. Even Inoue Kikuko (Of Belldandy fame) has turned to many mean and belligerent roles of late, whereas Ayako-San consistently brings us the sweetest and most loving girls in anime to date. :kawaii:

(forgive my un-knowelge of japense voice actors)

and what other roles did she have?

and I discovered something really scary while going through a character page... I have the same birthday as Gascogne! 21st September! ARRRGH! What coincidence.

But Vandread wasn't listed there... WHAT ROLE DID SHE PLAY IN VANDREAD? Probably DiTa, but I want to know for sure.

You don't know cynical, jaded, sarcastic women, do you?

Try living under the same roof with one for 20 years (as your sister, at that), and you'll be glad to spend 25 years behind bars just so you can do the world some good by killing her ass off the face of the earth.

But knowing that you can't in real life, you'll just have to go insane instead.

Believe me, nice and gentle girls are healthier alternatives to being driven into a self-loathing psychopath like me.

I didn't say sarcastic cynical women. I said CONSIDERABLY jaded and REALISTIC women. There is fine line between a realist and a cynic.

Sorry for not being clear. I will amend my advice.

"Avoid at all costs women who blame all their faults and temperaments on the mistakes of the father. Because whenever she does something wrong, its either his or your fault, but never hers. Eventually your self esteem will rot away for as you are a man, you can't do Jack sh!t about her constant need to take out her rage against life against the nearest male target. Eventually you'll become a sad, grim and self loathing shell of your former self, with no hope in real life whatsoever."

Take it from a person who has grown up with this crap for 2 decades. You'll thank me for it. :(

I feel sorry for you, Ronin, and I feel sorry for myself too. I have a 17 year old sister, who can kill an average guy with her psycho-terror in less than a week. And I've been tolerating her for 17 years already. Oh God, the thing I want most is a little adorable cute sister, and I get "the messenger from hell". Where's the justice in that?!

Ronin Aquila
12-02-02, 07:06 AM
You're (comparatively) on the lucky boat, my friend. Yours is a younger sister, and hence somewhat more tolerable.

Mine, however, is an older sister. Oh, I do have two, and the other is so sweet that she pays testament to how sweet big sisters like Belldandy-Oneechan can exist in real life.

However, the nice one is off to Brisbane to study medicine, leaving me all alone with the b!tch. I can't blame her, and I wish her well.

You know what angers me the most? After mom's departure from this world, Dad gives me this contradictory bullsh!t about how I must simultaneously:

A) Look after her!! :mad2: WTF?

B) Respect her as I would my departed mother on the sole basis that she is my elder!!!?? (HA!! :mad2: My mother would not give birth to a creature like her!! She must be a evil person reincarnated into the stillborn that was going to be my sister while still in my mom's womb!!)

She has no sense of priorities unless it concerns her , and will pester you until you go mad to prove she is right even if it is the day before a final exam over a misused piece of soap in the shower. :ssj: :ssj:

Mister Scanned, please take consolation in the fact that yours is not a senior. At least you can yell at yours in retaliation.

Please listen to me, Mister Cyfith. Cynical, jaded women and feminists are the personification of hatred and hypocrisy. You'll be doing yourself a favor to live your life without one in it.

Take Care, Brothers And Sisters. :(

scanned
12-02-02, 07:13 AM
Oh, your level of hatred and despise towards your sister is almost as great as mine. But however, Ronin, age has nothing to do with it. Least in my case. In fact, older sister would be a better solution. Okay, check this - my sister hasn't gone to school in many years, doesn't have a job, is sloppy as hell, drinks and smokes. How can your older sister be worse than that?

Ronin Aquila
12-02-02, 07:29 AM
My relationship with my father was sloppy before mom's death, but hell, do we try hard as hell to repair it and love each other afterwards. :(

But that b!tch, WILL NOT let go of the past and let this family start anew (lest it hurts her all important pride :mad2: ) and forgive him for his very minor mistakes. :ssj:

Therefore, whenever I try to make peace with my Dad on his few and precious visists to Australia, she will intervene by forcing him to do drive/run errands/buy things for her, with no thanks after completion. Should he even make an iota of mistake, or even a variation to what she wants, she will chuck an cataclysmic tantrum that will invariably end with her screaming towards her room and deafeningly slam the door so hard that the walls crack. :ssj:

And should I even spend time with him afterwards, she will chuck hysterical tantrums about how all my time with dad is spent talking about bad things behind her back, non stop. I hardly dare spend time with my dad anymore as a result. :bawling: :ssj:

Thank you, egocentric maniac. I now have only one parent, and because I happen to be born with a penis, I am evil and wrong for wantign to love that surviving parent. :mad2:

I really really wish that there is a cataclysmic global war that would result in the burning and killing of every last goddamn feminist on this Green Earth. This will teach the survivors an unforgettable lessons of the evil of valuing pride over a happy and normal family. :mad2: :ssj: :bawling:

I'm sorry for such an intensely violent remark, but such is my absolute hatred of the feminist race.

Take Care, Brothers And Sisters. :(

And then she's got the guts to come and tell us we dont treat her right, treat her as a lady. Grrr... I'm exploding of anger just by thinking of this.

Please listen to me, Mister Cyfith. Cynical, jaded women and feminists are the personification of hatred and hypocrisy. You'll be doing yourself a favor to live your life without one in it.

Like I said, there are degrees of shades. Not everything is black and white.

I know this certain girl at my school. However, she is neither a femi-nazi, nor a bitter person like you have in your stereotype, in fact she is just like you and me. She understands how unfair the world can be. She doesn't think the entire world owes her a favor, but she isn't entirely enthuastic about humanity either.

Perhaps my preference has to do with the fact that I'm also a considerably jaded person. Granted, she has her flaws, but I'm ok with that. I believe a good relationship must be earned, at least that's my philosophy.

And finally, I symphatize that you had to grow up with such a pain in the arse sibling. I wish I could introduce you to my younger sister, a nice girl, albeit a bit wierd. She just asked my opinion about the Cheong Sam she's wearing to school tomorrow. ^^

Gong Xi Fa Cai to those of you who celebrate it.

c'mon, put up a photo of her... any girl that looks like Yumiko Readman must be nearing the top level of cuteness..

also, my sister is wearing an outfit (and hairstyle) that makes her look somewhat like a picture of Naru Narusegawa (from Love Hina) I've got. scary, but only slightly.

DNA_Master
19-02-02, 12:28 AM
not nessecarily... Shinobu Maehara from Love Hina is a) not endowned and b) drawn to be un-cute...

thats a sterotype of Anime characters. Not all have perfect bodies, nor large breasts. However, pretty much all of them ARE cute in their own ways. Apart from some of the more extreme evil females of anime, maybe... like that evil chick in Gundam 0083: stardust memories. She was hell-ugly.

Some anime with an army of leading girls are never meant to be sexual in any way. And yet there are some fundamentalists out there that use romantic series such as Sister Princess to argue that the Japanese, not just Anime fans, are all peadophiles.

Don't you just want to drive a steamroller very slowly over people like these?

I think those that consider series like Sister Princess a sign of something really bad and dirty, dont have the purest souls themselves. The people who really like it, watch it as a nice romantic comedy, because thats what it is.
