Is it just me or Slayn and Leylia really don't care about their daughter Neese?
When Spark first learns that Neese is the Doorway and tells Slayn,he just answers "We know but it's her destiny".And he says that with a smile! He could at least appear sad,or worried.
And when Kardis is reborn Slayn and Leylia just say "Oh no!The Destroyer's reborn!" One would think they'd say something like "Neese! My poor daughter is gonna die!" but no,they are only worried about the rebirth of Kardis.
And finally,in every scene where Neese is with her parents, there's no interaction, they act like perfect strangers.
About the end though, that was magnificent! It brought a tear to my eye...Garrack's sacrifice was really something,it's then you can easily see he's not just a mercenary.
Although I'm curious about one thing, what do you think happens to Karla?Leylia picks up the circlet but what will she do with it?Who knows if Karla won't try to possess one of the heroes?
