Question about final episode: WARNING! Spoiler information

I just had a question about the final episode.
SPOILER DO NOT READ AHEAD IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LAST EPISODE

In the last scene where Spike falls over after fighting Vicious, it is said that you know he is dead because during the credits a star burns out. However, couldn't this star just be Vicious' star? Then they could bring Spike back. This could be a worthy explanation to make more episodes although I believe the ending was good enough and there shouldn't be anything else after it.
