How can you stand the Big O without at least one thought of suicide?

How can you watch one episode of DBZ without thinking of Killing Someone?

I've really had enough of this. If you don't like the show then don't post about it. There's already three threads here for people that DISLIKE the show, so post in one of them. You don't need to start a new thread for your oh so original comment.

I haven't gone to the DBZ forum to tell them I think the show is pointless, the animation is terrible, the fight scenes are far too drawn out and it doesn't stand a ghost of a chance of ever having a plot. Oh...and Trunks is NOT bishounen!!! There. I said it.

As easily as it is standing the immature, repetative, and predictable comments by the anti-Big O crowd.

I never once thought about killing myself while watching the series. Then again, I didn't get to watch all the episodes. I actually thought it was a testament to the tirelessness of the human drive to understand oneself and one's environment. Kinda uplifting.

Oh yeah, its saying that soon the rich will prevail and the poor will stand around watching 70's stlye robots lift arms and duke it out in a crappy one on one battle. Sorry.

There is a story line past the giant robot. Just to let you know.

The fact that the human species will still continue to survive under any circumstances is the lesson that the show is trying to achieve. As Roger put, Humans are very adaptable creatures. It is just interesting how all of the citizens managed to live on without know what happen before the incedent. I hope that they dwell on this more... I haven't seen the entire series yet ^_^

and the Big-O is just a spazzy looking robo just to keep one's attention. and yes, I actually bought the Big-O action figure ^_^ it comes with a little Dorothy and Roger too :kawaii:

The show isn't about the Megadueses, its about the people that inhabit the city. It shows us how people react to the interesting situation they got into. It also contains interesting social and philisophical commentary (not literally obviously :P). Its a great show, but you, like all the other immature 12 year old DBZ fans can't get around the goofy Big O battles that don't match up to Goku's ubber cool fight with that odd homosexual white creature with the same name as a kitchen appliance.

It's not as bad as the urge for suicide, but does need to clean up on some things. How did David Lucas let himself be submerged into this mesh?

If you paid any attention you'd know that the only people who bash Big O are the DBZ fans like you. Its not that hard to figure out why, DBZ is for little kids, Big O isn't. So when the little kids see the show they can't understand that doesn't feature non stop fighting, they talk about committing suicide like you.

Look, my brother and cousin are hooked to DBZ and just because I don't care a truck load of brainwaves for Big O, does not mean I endear DBZ like they're fate. Look at my avatar and profile of mercy's sake. Don't judge people like that, being a stalker is bad enough.

Nothing is wrong with liking either The Big-O and DBZ. Both are excellent shows for their own rights... ok so I don't like DBZ, but i can see why others like it. It's like a soap opera and the show keeps you hooked on what will happen on the next episode. it's not the greatest show on the intelligence meter, but it's just a fun show to watch. I've just gotten sick of it ^_^

The big-o is also a great show for reasons that i've just stated. ^_^

um, love and peace?

I respect other people's minds (opinions), but not people that judge others without knowing the truth behind the matter. But what is truth?
:homer: "What is the mind...no matter. What is matter, never mind."
