Belldandy... Too sensitive?

Even though Belldandy may be one of my favorite goddess's...
She tends to be a little to sensitve at times. When stuff blows up just because she had a ' jealousy storm '. She get's really sad and calls herself stuff like ' a horried woman. ' She shouldn't be so hard on herself. It's sooo normal to be jealous. I mean look at Skuld! Keiichi loves Belldandy, so I don't think he'd mind her if she got jealous once in awhile.
I think the creator made her a little too sensitive.
But still I can't help but love her! Sweetie

Blah blah. Personally, I think it makes the character more likeable, cute, whatever you call it. I'd talk her if she just magically appeared in front of me one day. I gotta stop this mirror shopping spree some day.

Yes, Bell-chan is a very loved character due to the very fact that she is sweet and caring. But MFG, due remember that Bell-chan does get jealous and was willing and ready to offer herself to K1 during the Peorth Arc. Shes more then just sensitive, she has a backbone as well and is ready to go into an offensive mode as well. Fujishima didn't start Bell-chan off as overly caring ya know. In the beginning of the manga she was very much a mixture of Urd and Skuld... she eventually matured with the advent of Urd and Skuld being introduced into the series. Bell is just one of those characters who you just love due to her unique traits. Yes, as you stated, she may be a bit over-sensitive, but she has good reason to be. Shes in love with a mortal, and mortals don't exactly live forever. So she does what she can, she tries to be as usefull as possible, express her love in many ways as possible, and she shows her honest to god true and real emotions. Its due to her honesty with her own emotions, and her innate ability to openly express them that make people just fall in love with her Character. Yea its true that Bell may not be everyone fav character... she may even be hated by some.... but this is how i see it.

Hmmm. She might be oversensitive, but just imagine how boring she would be with no faults.
