that in the Tenchi series, Coca-cola seems to show up in them. If you watch them, you'll see signs here and there occasionally, and you'll see Tenchi and the gang drinking some. Of course it doesn't really say "Coca-cola" directly, it's always blurred out or something. But it's just something I noticed.

I'm talking about all three series actually. But mostly Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo. Those ones show it the most. I think it's seen briefly in the OVAs, but perhaps I'm wrong there.


As for an example, in the first episode of Tenchi in Tokyo. If you look around at Tokyo as the city is panned through, you'll notice a "Coke" sign hanging from a building.

It's probably because the Universe and Tokyo people were worhtless, sellout hacks with less skill in their whole bodies than Hayashi/Kajishima had in a single one of their cells.

Right then...there's that, then there's a more realistic idea of maybe they just wanted to make things seem a little more like our own world. And no, I doubt highly that they get funding from Coca-cola, if they had, then the signs would have been more clear and would have actually said "Coca-cola," but they don't.

advertising coke ehh . . . like in the movie Alice they were blatently advertising Nokia and ;like the the Street fighter Alpha movie they had close ups of Sakura playing a Streetfighter on the gameswan
